Michael Cooney...loved him from the early 70's...he's the true folk singer...everything becomes clear when he sings...all his records & cds are fine documents...but obviously nothing comes close to reality like this video & live rceordings i've taped from public radio...God Bless Michael Cooney...there's a little guy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who just absolutely loves you.

I'm one of those old folks who was at those Philly Folk Festivals in the 60s--and another one who wishes there were more of MC on YouTube--or DVD or CD, if we can't see him in person any more. What a musical musician and superb instrumentalist--not to mention wit, singer, collector of great songs and stories ...

Thanks so much for adding this; sorry it's taken me so long to get back. His old timey songs always bring back great memories of 1966 for me! I hope he decides to do a CD of JUST old timey songs - hmmm, maybe I'll email him and ask!
