  • Take not the wand in hand, nor bring the cup to thy lips, nay, watch not the disks twirl round, nor shall sword be brandished in fervor. Do not say unto thyself "I am a magician", for thou art a fool in devil's tryst; your fire burns, your wine parches, your earth bears no fruit, and your air smothers. Are these things not sacred to you, aspirant?

  • @EquitorialPancakes Should such unclean flesh be adorned in the dross of angels? Why then in life do you seek to unlock the mysteries of death? I pray verily these things retain their place with the Holy Spirit.

  • 93/93=93!

  • aleister crowley hardley a higher intelligence.

  • The fruit that falls from the tree, holds the entire tree within the single apple, thus the fruit is the tree.

If you call your self a Thelema cult follower, then you are the apple that represents the whole tree or the whole being of Thelema, which is Aleister Crowley, the Beast666. So this means you support The supreme Rite of slaying a willing blood sacrifice, eating fecal matter (excrement), beastyality etc.. You hide behind the fake mask of WILL of LOVE, and NO I am not Christian at all!

  • I like your commitment, but there is no god in any AEON. Hail SET in the highest.

  • i look at you and want to punch you in the face. your faggy beard annoys me. you want to be "mr thelema" "i'm a thelemite" might as well say you're a saint.

crowley himself would shun you as a grovelling, unthinking slave.

  • majik iznt reel

  • Is it true that the OTO uses cookies of blood and semen at the masses? They dont tell you this when you go - thats really suprising!! Please tell us why this is.

  • if one truly understood the meaning of the phrase do what thou wilt and truly understood the concept of true will they would realize that True will can only come from within when one has removed all obsticles that seperate the self from the true being. By following doctrines and quoteing brainwash mantras you will never achieve true enlightenment. How do you know these entities that crowley instructed crowley didnt decieve him? ever consider that? if you think that is impossible you are blind.

  • Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

My question is WHY does mr crowley refer to himself as "the beast whos number is 666" Why? the only explanation i have is that its a tactic to scare away the weak minded. im hopeing a thelemite will have a better answer?

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

  • And will decieve the people... can anyone explain this to me because i dont want to be decieved lol and im not sure what to make of this.

  • Ive been studying the occult for a few years now and i am currently readin "the law is for all" a commentary on the book of the law. I am confused because it talks about him being "the beast 666" and the scarlet woman, babalon, whos name is mystery..."I will slay me her child" "Let her work the work of wickedness. Let her kill her heart." etc etc. Now i know that books like this are full of allegories but what does all this mean? Bc the BIBLE mentions a beast who tries to make himself god.

  • @Alkhemist10 If that is the interpretation you've chosen, then no one has the right to guide you away from it. The interpretation of Liber AL is left only to the individual reading it.

  • Hi, I went to a Gnostic Mass at my local OTO, and in the process I accidentally a whole cookie full of menstrual blood and sperm. I didn't mind this that much, because I got to see boobies. My question is this: Do you guys really smear poop on your faces during your initiation? I'm cool with menstrual blood and sperm, but I am not down with poop. Poop is gross and I don't want it on my face, no matter how many boobies I get to see.

  • In short, my star: we couldn't "love" anything unless we had the "will" to do so, right? We perhaps couldn't amount to a hill of sh@t unless we had the "will" to do anything...... this is precisely why the code is universal: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law."........note I did NOT say "want." I've been in hiding......look me up soon Frater Oz.

  • My star, "Will" is how we are even aware we are "Awake." It is the ULTIMATE weapon to keep "emotions" under control. For instance, if we "loved" over will, we could over-react to our true gift, i.e, the "will" and kill ourselves. Loving "incorrectly" has caused the demise of so many people. Therefore love must be under will as well as every other emotion we face here. "Will" in itself is our guide. We are called upon to be the "Strongest" lovers due to our "wills."

  • I have been studying the Theleme for years, and this is simply a brighter view of Thelema. Early TRUE Thelemites (what I refer to as the first Order -- 1904-1947) believed in this but also believed that the world must be purged of all non-Thelemites. Cults and religions change rapidly, and when Edward Alexander Crowley (Aleister's true birth-name) died in 1947, the Thelema changed. I wish luck to the Second Order, but I doubt it will ever be as successful as the first.

  • Revelation 21:18 You don't want to be in an eternal lake of fire....do you?

  • At first I didn't quite understand what "Love under will" means. Now I do. You cannot even love, if you do not will to do so. Neither is supposed to supercede the other. They are both compliments to one another and together they form the onness.

  • Love is not politics. She is continuous.

  • 3:46

Baby dont hurt me,don't hurt me, no more.

  • @CerunnosTheHornedGod What is Love!? lol

  • You obviously never heard the song :L lol

Not trying to be disrespectful but I couldnt resist xp

  • @Cerunnos Obviously I do since I was quoting the relevant lyric...

  • Oh haha,I thought you were wondering what the fuck I was sayin :L

  • I wonder if frater Oz is a part of the OTO. If Aleister Crowley is to be elevated to the ranks of prophet then, why did he neglect and disregard his companions in the Himalayan expedition? Instead of dying a martyrs death he died in a very undignified manner. I certainly will not follow in his foot steps. However I do think Crowley was a good writer but that is all. I prefer to get my Esoteric studies from Rosicrucianism and The Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn.

  • People were dying all around Jesus and being murdered around Muhammad. A prophet doesn't mean people around him are immune to harm. Besides, Thelema is about "force & fire" & Doing their Wills... not avoiding pain or suffering like most Old Aeon religions are utterly obsessed with.

  • Point taken. I must admit that his biography, ideology and work does arouse an incredible amount of intellectual curiosity on my part. Which book should I read first? "The book of lies" or "The book of the Law: Liber al Vel Legis". Your input would be most helpful.

  • @HeruTV I would like to take this opportunity to retract my statement. You are right this is the "AEON of the child"(Hoor-Paar-Kraat, and his manifestation Hadit).

44.For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect. Liber AL

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

    93 N.O.X

  • @HeruTV I see (most of) religion as 2 things: Spirituality, and Morality. How would you look at Spirituality? Do you believe in any gods/souls/afterlife? I know I may be asking this in a general idea of religion, but I was interested. (Personally I think we most likely have more power than we think, and some of us may be able to achieve 'god' status/ I don't really believe in any afterlife, but again it may be a possibility)

  • @HeruTV Do you think will is a predestined thing controlled by a higher power, or do you think we have to choose our will by ourselves? Say someone wants to change people's ideas, to you would that be a thing that is controlled by something other than that person, that person themselves, or both in different parts?

  • @zochirho

I agree with you. I´m a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. That´s the real deal.

  • @Ikarus43 I appreciate your comment. It has been a long time since I last wrote that comment. I am also a member of the HOGD. However now I am a Minerval initiate in the Ordo Templi Orientis. I take the "Book of The Law" very seriously and I find Thelema to be a great inspiration in my life. I also think that Crowley was maligned and misunderstood. The more I investigate Crowley the more enigmatic and profound his legacy becomes. I love both Thelema and The Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn.

    93

  • @Ikarus43 Is not the O.T.O and Thelema much more hardcore than the Magick of the Golden Dawn?

  • @zochirho Prophet doesnt equal fluff bunny.

  • @zochirho Modern Rosicrucianism= Waste of time.

Golden Dawn= Flawed, and sloppy Magickal system.

Crowley pointed out tons of problems with the GD.

  • @zochirho Ok this is an old comment. You're right Thelema is a much better system of Theurgy. Matter of fact I am a 1st degree in the Ordo Templi Orientis. Allright until I find a way to delete that old message I suppose I'll have to update my fellow Thelemites on my new views. 93 to everyone. "Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law."

  • I guess if you took the time to read about this and learn you would see that there is a greater meaning ...know your will....means know who you are..know your self....be who you are....yes he had some bad sides but he was also a very clever man and you should read about him and also realize that he writes in riddles and what you read is not always what it means.... So many live with blinkers and that is fine but before you slam something study it and then give a comment.

  • what if he had sex with guys? were you there first of all and then we live in the year 2009 and lucky for us we do not live in the midevil times.some people still live in that time unfortunatly.

  • make music make love make friends !

  • You sound like you have belief...but belief is for people that do not know. For if you know...there is no longer any need for belief. How do you perfect your will?

  • There is no god but man.

  • So why don't you change the color of the hair on your head?

  • wrong....

  • I missed something in my last post...when we get inspiration we feel is from a higher intellegence, how do we qualify the higher intellegence as to its purpose and character? Why should I listen to it?

  • Why should anybody follow a prophet that can't beat death? Human beings get a notion, then call it inspiration, then apply some faulty human logic, then go on a PR campaign, and maybe get some folks to agree, then surround themselves with those like-minded folks--then return to dust. It is so easy to fall for this routine. I prefer a God who has reached down through all this human mumbo-jumbo so we can make some sense of life and death.

  • I enjoyed that, thanks.

  • fuck off there's no such thing as god...power resides inside of every single one......the goal is to reach that power.....

reaching it would be a hard task and obeying to your instincts and to your true will...will eventually get you in touch with "the real you"........

CHANGE YOUR PERCEPTION!!! YOU HAVE ADQUIRED ONE SINCE THE DAY YOU WHERE BORN....OPEN YOUR EYES AND "SEE" DESTROY ALL MENTAL BARRIERS EXPERIMENT.....THE WORLD YOU KNOW AND SEE EVERY DAY IS REDUCED....

  • wrong...

  • why everything is wrong fucking bitch?

  • Well, whatever 'Thelema' is, it's clearly less interesting than train spotting. Bore that fucking tits off everybody is the whole of the law.

Turning an old frauds grandiose sense of humour into yet another religion was never a good idea!

  • 93: Its too bad you found the video boring but Thelema itself is far from boring... either way, even if it was an old man's sense of humor its sure a useful sense of humor!

  • Can Thelemites be 'unified'? I think Crowley would have accepted that (magickal) orders, or even loosely affiliated 'religious' groups, necessarily introduce hierarchy and priestcraft into affairs. This seems antithetical to 'Will', and the requirement that the 'Book of Law' not be interpreted by one for another - which inevitably happens when groups desire to 'unify'.

Nice channel, by the way. Really interesting!

  • I think the word you were looking for was accept. Also you missed the word "how" after the word "wonder". You are entitled to your opinion however make sure to check your grammar and spelling next time.

  • .sigh.

  • i dont like the fact that people always talk about aleister crowleys addiction.again in those days it was normal to get drugs from a doctor.but me i was addicted to heroin and i can say that taking my own responsability and magick thinking has completely set me free.i am free of it for almost 4 years and i dont even have the urge anymore.i live a happy fullfilled life now.

  • congratulations! thats great. really is.

  • I had the same experience Witchcarridwen: AC's

"he Diary of a Drug Fiend" was exceptionally helpful.

  • love under will.whos will

  • 93: YOUR will. Every person is a star, and each star has its own unique Law or Will. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

  • Do you think Crowley may have revised the doctrine upon knowing (with later scientific discovery) that stars do collide - and do not orbit in perfect alignment?

I know 'The Book of the Law' was "received" by Crowley, but might he have looked for another metaphor upon knowing this? Of course, 'Every man and every woman is a Star' cannot be changed in the BOL text, but still...

  • 93: The Book of the Law never says "star will never collide" or "there will never be conflict." In fact, it says many things quite to the contrary...

  • Crowley was stating that each soul occupies it's own space. no 2 things can occupy the same space simultaneously. And though each soul is an entity unto itself, and occupies a certain position in space, it is infinite. Like a number. Numbers can collide in synthesis.

  • It's FAILING to do ones reviled will that causes the collisions...it's an interesting question because Crowley was no stranger to revision...i.e. he REVISED LIBER AL'S COMMENTARIES(S) periodicly

  • You've got to be f0cking kidding me!

  • This is an awesome explanation. I feel as though i was meant to be in a band so i should always follow this. I don't even believe in having backup plans because it feels more real than anything else. Anyways thx for this great vid. Peace!

  • Hi, I want to learn more about Thelema..where should i start?

  • 93: Read up on the Wikipedia articles for Aleister Crowley, Thelema, etc. and read the Libers at hermetic (dot com) ... send me a PM for more specific suggestions.

  • I have looked alot of that stuff up, but i mean more in the case of actual books i can purchase. Also why do you start every comment with 93? I came across thelema from the band Behemoth..the lead singer Nergal is a thelemite and their lyrics are often about Thelema.

  • What do you guess think about the movie The Chemical Wedding:Crowley?

  • 93: A fun, silly fictional story using Crowley if you don't insist on it being a true, historical depiction of the Beast.

  • Yeah I feel the same way. I really enjoyed it. As a film it has room for improvement though. I give it a B-

  • I am fairly new to Thelema, but have always been interested in occult literature and artwork.I am finding all of Frater Oz's videos very helpful in my understanding of Thelema. Keep up the great work, and thank you for doing this!!!!!

  • I am so curious about Thelema yet I am also confused!

  • 93: What are you confused about? Feel free to send me a private message...

  • I dont see how people can follow a man who destrotyed himself. If this religion is so great then why did Crowley end up such a broken old man?

  • 93: It is most certain your own opinion that he ended 'a broken old man.' Even so, he lived a great life - and Thelema is not limited to Crowley. Its proof is the success people feel it brings to their life - the joy it brings to their experience. If you really want to know why it is 'great' then ask people why they are Thelemites. There are as many different answers as there are people as we don't slavishly imitate Crowley but simply respect him as the prophet who brought us the word of Thelema

  • And Jesus died as 33 y.o. man... Lawl, if christianity is so great why did Christ end up such a broken young man?

  • i love him ,at least one guy made my smle for real today

  • Frater Oz your videos are truely amazing. From one who has just started on the road. 2 years of practice, and 4 years of study in the occult/ceremonial magic. You present Thelema as it is without all the media hyperbole surrounding Crowley.

I am now in contact with the IOT(I am a chaote who leans strongly towards Crowley, and the golden dawn), and may soon become a member. I wish that our different spiritual paths will not in any way come between us carrying a dialouge. I enjoy your videos!

  • 93: I am glad you like Frater Oz's words... I doubt that you being a Chaote would cause any kind of conflict (it certainly doesnt with me) and I encourage you to look at Frater Oz's own video channel (see the link under 'more info' on this video). 93 93/93

  • He has already mailed me. I am glad to find that there are still occultists out there who have good atitudes towards one another. Again I thank you for your kind words, and time.

  • it's very exciting to found out about thelema...because I have always thought about God and the divine and like he explains here really since I was a very young (I'm just 21 now)..I just didn't know it was a religion/philosophy:P

keep up the good work and the amazing videos!

  • Thelema is a damn good concept... it's too bad its "prophet" couldn't be a living example of such qualities.

  • Oh but he was in many ways. And he never CLAIMED that he was perfect.None of us are.

  • 93: I'm not sure why this is such a popular meme. In many ways he was a great living example of the profound possibilities one could achieve as a human; he was master chess player, mountain climber, poet, writer, prophet, mystic, and magician (among other things). He was an example in many ways, but Thelema is also about one's individual & unique Will; to copy or imitate another is to ignore the responsibility (and joy) of finding one's own Way.

  • It's not necessarily a "meme" if one comes to the conclusion on their own.

I'm not knocking Crowley, but weaknesses such as addiction could have been easily overcome by "magick". I always thought of him as more of a mystic, anyhow.

  • Well you are neglecting to realize one thing in reference to his "addiction" too many people place emphasis on the fact, when heroin was prescribed to him by his doctors at a rather early age for his asthma, as it was a common remedy in that time. Sometimes we tend to overlook how different things are today in regards to drugs, and medical advancements. Many of the drugs we see today as dangerous, weren't even illegal back then, and definately were less known from a medical standpoint.

  • 93,

He was certainly a mystic. He often recommends both Magick and Mysticism as complementary. Liber 93: Fountain of Hyacinth is an example of him attempting to get away from drugs by 'magick' as you suggest.

  • Hi great post i study thelemic magick too and am a mod on a forum teaching higher magick

    Love and Light

    Lou xx

  • maybe he was? :)

  • 93: To some he definitely was. I think how you view Crowley is a good reflection of your worldview. If you see sexual, chemical, and philosophical exploration as a threat you generally call him 'degenerate' or 'debaucherous' etc. ;)

  • I like it. Thank you for having me.

    93,

    Fr. Oz
