I have a 2009 500SS with a 597 engine it basically a 600 and a 2009 600 H.O E-Tec so Im thinking theyre about the same but I havent tryed the new E-Tec out but I want snow to come so I can try it out.

etec is better on fuel mileage, smoother, tiny bit more power, less smoke, less oil usage

I have a 2005 ski-doo 500ss and i really like it my grandpa and grandma just got the new 2009 60 e-tec and we will see witch one they like better the new one ore old one

I personally like the REV XP(yellow one) better, the XP will pull catwalks like no other, and the handling is good too. And I've never really rode the old revs, so i cannot tell you about the power.
