Your voice sounds a lot like Cindy Drozda. The pen you made was very good work. It is tragic that some much time and energy is expended in making pens when hand written documentation of any kind is going the way of the dinosaur what with hand held computerized note pads ..I am expecting the "I...sticky note" to come out before long.
I've been turning for about 9 months now and decided to pick up everything I needed for pens yesterday. I had a few questions and your video has cleared them all up for me. THANKS!!
That was an "allrighty" video. It's great that you could take something that most would consider a piece of scrap and make an exquisite writing implement. I'm going to try making these.
Wow Lana, I can't for the life of me figure out how I could have missed these "pen making" vids. You are simply amazing with all those elaborate tools and I can only imagine the wood shavings smell so good mmmmmm I'm sitting here holding my beautiful pen and I can feel all the love you put into making it :))) xoxoxoxoxox
Wow! You do amazing work!! I would definately buy one if you were to sell them!! It is just so amazing to watch you make the pen! I've watched this video like three times now!! Beautiful work!
This was so mesmerizing. I loved the sounds. I showed my brother the pen and he was awestruck. He used to take wood classes in high school and wanted to take up carpentry before I nixed that (I know, I know, but there wasn't a market for carpentry here!)He still loves fiddling with wood when he can.
I am very happy you like the pen. I love working on the Lathe. Hubby and I will be making Christmas ornaments this week on the lathe. I will see if I can tape it.
I just came from Beth's and saw the beautiful pen that you made for her. You have a wonderful wood shop! I use to spend hours in my dad's wood shop with him and now I have a small shop. Your work is wonderful and I enjoyed these videos!:)
awesome job! I see you commented that you don't sell yet, but I would love to buy one. I miss the tools we use to have when I sold crafts. I never had that much talent though
Great job, I have been wanting to ask you, do you sell your pens? I am so searching for a special gift for my husband, PM me if you are interested in selling to me.
This does not explain how make the pen....What is the hardware used?

Beautiful hand crafted pens. There is a lot of detailed work to make one but you have it down to a science. Thanks for showing the process.
