I WAS THERE! I woke up that morning for school and saw this bright light - but I didn't hear anything at first. My mom was in the hallway and I asked her what that was and she said "I don't know. What are you talking about?" and then the BOOM hit and she's like "maybe it's a plane or something that went too fast..."

Anyway, couple points, directed at various comments: space is big and full of rocks. Only the biggest ones are tracked, even that's a full time job.

This was posted the 19th and the satellite was shot down late on the 20th.

It appears to be coming in at an angle before disappearing. It likely broke apart or slowed to it's terminal velocity at which point it quickly cooled and the glow dissipated.

The is no random meteor. In September 21, 2007 another meteor hit in Peru. There may be an object(Planet X, Nibiru) that is starting to push meteors or asteroids from the Asteroid Belt. If we see more and more meteor events increase then something is magnetically pushing this asteroids out of their orbits. Then who also knows how many meteors hit out in the oceans and no one records the event? In the September 1984 US News had a article of finding brown dwarf planet, then the story disappeared.
