I can IMAGINE what kind a show THIS was! Sure wish I was a teenager or an adult during the 70s (I'm gonna be 40 on August 30, 2010)! Did I miss A LOT of GREAT shows during the 70s-OR WHAT? When you saw him, who opened for them or did Alice open for someone?
I first saw them in 1971 during the Love it to Death Tour with the "original" band. I can't remember who opened on the 1978 tour though. I'm going to be 50 in 9 days, but I saw my first concer at age 10 in 1970. It was Led Zeppelin at the L.A. Forum. I have an older brother who once in a while would let me tag along in my parents said it was ok. My second show was Alice and my third was Grand Funk Railroad (also at the Forum) during the 1972 tour.
this is alices worst years. from 1983 to 1985. he drank heaps then and it effected his life badly. he almost died. but he should be proudd of himself cause now he dosne't drink and hes learned from his bad mistakes. good on ya alice
thanx 4 the facts-and if it weren't for the "bad affects", where would the genuis part and experience have led? Mabey in the middle of bible-belt,USA, full of judgement! Thank god 4 his "bad", now he can experience the "good", huh? and, even, express it greatly! ..PEACE
he fefinatley is the king of shock rock. also i think he created glam rock so if it wasn't fro him then there would proba;y be no glam rock or no kiss and other glam rock bands

I hope you got your history straightened out by now.. this is from 1979 after he got out of rehab. He was clean after 1983 for good.
