actually, Shugo Chara doki episodes are released Saturdays~in every site~ on crunchyroll, every saturday, during 9:30 or around that time, but only paid members can watch it, on animeseason, they release it around 11-12 noon~ saturdays.

if they went on with the plot then they would finish the series before the manga and for some reason they cant(or wont) do that. so once the manga is finished then they'll continue with the plot and finish the series. but it'll b a long time b4 they continue with the plot cause they still hav to finsh lulu's story. however, the manga is almost finished so it wont be that long of a wait =]
