Have you ever wished you'd never heard a piece before so that you could experience it again for the first time? A good trancription is as close as you can get. Hearing this made the pathetique fresh again. Awsome.

Arrangement is nice, some small things I personally change, but I like it. Occasionally it seemed that the second violins would be getting a tad sharp. Unfortunately there seemed to be a bit too much presence in the room making it hard to distinguish small trills and other details. There also seemed to be a tendency to get a tad quieter on the sudden runs. Keep it up though, very pleasing to listen to. :)

I think it's just not the same as a solo piano. There isn't an immediate surprising contrast or coloring.

Quite. With an ensemble like this you can't put enough of your own style into it with small tempo changes and such.

This would have been even better with a full symphony orchestra, since the capabilities of strings are somewhat limited when it comes to playing more violent music.
