Okay...I just bought a Texas Defender today. Nice pistol...very nice pistol. I went to the Bond Arms site and found this video. I am very surprised to see their agent and the narrator here...FLIPPING the barrel opened and closed. Just like the old cop shows where they flipped out a revolver cylinder and flipped it shut....then wondered why the crane was bent...Jeeessshhh....not very good for a nice pistol...but then...I'm not an expert like they are I suppose.....

" A gun is no more dangerous than the person who is holding it" and accidents involving guns are the results of irresponsible storing & misuse. And it's vitally important to talk to small children and explain to them the dangers of playing with guns and educating them on safe handling of firearms. and gun safes and trigger locks are very good investments as far as keeping children safe.

Proper triggergaurd looks like a great feature for a derringer. As does the universal receiver.
