I LOVED my 88 Fox wagon. I wished it had a 5 speed , as the R.P M.s were too high on the hgy. The little thing would go off roading like a baja buggy, and climbed rocks too. I'd like to get one as my son's first car. Yes, it did drive a bit like my dads fiat.

Hooray for vw fox! I love it, it drives great like the description here. Ihope it passe smog test in Sept. 2011. cost me 700.00 9 years ago and still runs great

@MegaTallicaFTW97 No. The Fox is a completely different car. But it is the American name for it. I believe it was marked as the Gacel in other places.
