  • AGAIN< it is belgian and brazilian, more brazilian to be exact you idiots!

  • I'm gonna miss the signs in Busch Gardens that say, "Brewed in America, owned in America, profits stay in America."

  • I am Belgian! I drink many beers of Belgium, they are good but Budweiser is also very very nice beer! It should stay in AMerica!

  • fvck ab and fvck inbev! check out my "fvck inbev" vid on my page

  • As the video mentioned, they go out of their way to advertise that they're a proud, American owned company within the Busch parks. I hear it all the time, I'm a passmember, and it's gonna be sad to see the AB logo and Clydesdales no longer a part of the BEC parks.

  • I'm from Belgian and is say, keep your fucking budweiser,it's one of the worst pilsner beers i ever drunk. And i mean this!

But besides that, belgian beers are known as the best in the world, for some of you ingnorant americans this may come as a surprice that we can do more than just bake waffels. We are also the country with the most different beers in the whole world. So if there is a country that doesnt need pisswater like bud, it is belgium!! everything thats un-american is stamped as No-Good

  • im belgian too and Budweiser is good you better stfu i like USA too big ass idiot

  • And how many companies, including national symbols, did American companies buy or merge with in the last few years? Coca Cola, Microsoft, Google, GM, Ford... remember Mercedes? It's a fair game played by the same rules your companies are using to acquire dominance in other parts of the world.

  • Yet they still try many regional brews that fail and some that actually do very well that they actually roll out nationally and globally.

Stop trying to be so trendy and "anti walmart"ish when we know you actually drink it too.

  • ...than why would you drink "piss" as you called it? Because it IS a good beer. I love how everyone wants appear cultured and cool and hip because they drink microbrews and don't bow to the big mainstream beer.

Think of it this way...a new major car manufacturer spends millions to make and market their car to the world. Top dollar. But it is a shit car...it will crumble. Budweiser, in fact AB products have been around for how long now, and still have a stronghold on the world market?

  • I see where you're going with this, but realize this...Budweiser sells the most in the world. So, by that reasoning, as a whole, the world tends to disagree with you on the statement that Amaerican beers suck. The top beer in Ireland is undoubtedly Guiness Stought, but when my friends go ther e, which is every year, the locals can be seen downing Budweiser everywhere. If you have the best selling beer at your fingertips and it is cheaper since it is not an import...

  • ...or just accept the fact that generally, american beers suck. there are exceptions, of course. any microbrew of oregon or maybe even louisiana is good. and i'm from chicago, so i have to give props to goose island. one can never really go wrong with sam adams either. but on the whole, domestic beer blows. if anyone asks me to buy them a miller lite or budweiser, i usually say, "you want me to piss in a bottle for you? it'll taste the same..."

  • Yes :)

Though the very best beer always seems to be European anyway :P

  • samuel adams?

    sierra nevada?

    red hook?

    mickeys?

steel reserve (best beer for hobos)?

  • Have you tried Heineken ? I hope so :)

It's often considered the best beer in the world.

But somehow, where I live, we drink an even better one. It's actually (sort of) a fact you know.

And really, American beer has the reputation of being crap. But don't take my word for it, 'cause I've never really tried it. It's just the reputation that I am building this on.

  • heiniken light is really good if you are in the mood for a light beer. i know heineken isn't pale ale but it has a similar taste to rolling rock (after ab bought them and moved them from original brewery). rolling rock (before inbev bought them) was probably one of the best beers ever. i really miss rr.

  • look up anchor brewing co. in san francisco. there you will find beer that gives the germans a run for thier money.

  • Hmm. Interesting, I think I will.

    Heineken is from Holland though.

Also, you could try looking up "Føroya Bjór"

That is in my opinion the best beer company ever.

It's also supposed to have won more awards than Heineken or something.

  • Just think about this; How AMERICAN is the name BUDWEISER ?

The answere is: Not at all.

The most patriotic (american) beer, has a German name.

How is it a big deal that Europeans are buying it then ?

  • That's because it was founded by a German immigrant(although I think the name Budweiser is actually Czech if I am not mistaken, thus the trademark dispute in Europe with the Czech brewery Budweiser Budvar),like alot of other American breweries. After all the lager styles of beer ware largely brewed by central europeans,as opposed to the heavier ales that were produced by British brewers. The "big deal" Kewkyness is that AB is a huge company and now its profits will be going into foreign pockets.

  • Exactly. What's the big deal with that money going into some other company ?

Are people really that... should I say racist ?

  • This is just pathedic... Seriusly. How can this be a big deal ? It's still the same thing, just someone alse who owns it. It's not going to taste any differend. People are harldy going to notice. It's just beer. It's not even the best one out there anyway.

  • lived in St. Louis for ten years and a good friend of mine's father is a brewer at AB and is now most likely going to lose his job due to cost cutting and buy outs of the older brewers. Unfortunately, alot of this has to do with the weak dollar making it more attractive for European companies to buy out american companies with their relatively strong euros.by the way, if you live in metro st louis and you want to support an american brewery then drink Schlafly! wish i could get it here in Omaha.

  • ...You are correct on your reasoning!

The Tap Room/Schlafly beers; great place to relax & eat; Schlafly beer is just downright the best (I really enjoy the Hefeweizen)! I think it's safe to say that Tom Schlafly won't sell out!

  • what is this "schlafly" you speak of?

  • It's the name of the beer produced by a local St. Louis brewery called The St. Louis Brewery. The brewery was founded and is still owned by Tom Schlafly, thus the name Schlafly beer. Its only available in the St. Louis metro region. If you are ever in the area you should go to their brewpub on Locust street or their bottling facility/restaurant on Manchester. I live in Omaha now and I wish I could get it up here. It is good stuff.

  • i'll try to get it online, thanx

  • i used to drink it every once in awhile because it was american owned and union. cross it off my list now. fat tire is the best

  • who cares we're all on the same planet we shold all stop being devide by countries and religions so pick up a budwieser bite into a taco and watch some anime!

  • All I have to say is Booooo! :-(

  • It's pretty sad that now our biggest U.S. beer company is probably a micro brew. All the big names are now owned by other countries. Miller, Bud, Coors, Michelob...all now owned by other countries.

  • the largest american brewer is samuel adams. we need to buy this beer now. it's the best beer to represent american beer or at leat be a flagship for american beer.

  • even foreign cars are better lol. all american made culture is shit. Ill drink to that....a soda of course ;)

  • I dont get why people like shit beer good, thing this happen hopefully no more piss beer plus everything foreign is better than american.

  • People will certainly keep drinking Bud piss water. The typical American doesn't give a shit about these types of things until it affects him or her directly. And the stockholders of these companies (both domestic and foreign) know that fact all too well. American apathy is just one of many tools used by large companies to make a profit. People will bitch and moan about this for a while, and then forget. And those who made the initial deal with continue to profit from it.

  • Gawl darned foreigners? Ha. I would be more worried if this new company buying AB in St. Louis was in "an axis of evil" country with

terrorist inclinations. I feel for Missouri and the Clydesdales but I think Belgium will

keep up the quality of the product. It is sad,

though, that another industry is leaving our

country as home and shipping out, (like our Electronics, appliances) I hope GM is not next.

  • FUCK BUDWEISER! DRINK YUENGLING! The oldest brewery in america!

  • At least it was a European country, also wasn't it a hostile takeover of their stock? What do we expect, it's a public company, their stock was bought by InBev. The dollar is worth half the Euro. Also, the beer is still being made in this country. American workers still have their jobs unless they fire the people and give their jobs to "immigrants".

  • Dos XX beer smokes Budweiser

  • I gave up on Budweiser when they started putting beer in plastic bottles and making cans that are shaped like bottles. FFF Budweiser I will never buy another beer from a beer maker that shows contempt for beer drinkers.

  • This is the LAST thing we need. We already have those god damned spics crossing out border, getting OUR jobs, worsening the economy with their filth. Fuck the rest of the world, America needs to isolate itself like back in the Industrial Era, recover from this severe injury, and become an independent nation without ANY help from foreign nations. So FUCK Belgium, FUCK S. America, and FUCK Canada.

  • Wow, I wonder if you would say that if you owned stock in Anheuser-Busch and stood to profit from this deal.

As for those "spics crossing out border (sic), getting OUR jobs" let me say this: They are not taking any jobs that White, American company owners, CEOs, and board members of corporations don't already want to give to them. If you really want to see the cause of illegal immigration look at the White American upper class and direct your RIGHTFULL, JUSTIFED anger at them.

  • I AM, if you haven't noticed. Those greedy money fuckers are taking those fucking filth-ridden spics from across the border and see them as qualified compared to the people who were born, raised, and worked their fucking ass off to get where they are today. And yes, I would still say that. It's not about the money, it's about the other variables.

  • 50 years ago your grandparents snuck into this country. Your lack of knowledge reflects in your racist statment.Besides when was the last time you seen an anglo pick fruits or vegetables,or yard work. Eat a dick craker !

  • Actually..it was MUCH longer than 50 years for my descendants. Give or take a few 100 years. But this has nothing to do with the problem at hand.

  • what a bitch...talking all that shit ...but wen its time to get buttfuked by his own gov., hes spreading his cheeks and grabbin his ankles...do something that will actually matter in ur life sometime...and dont blame another race cuz u feel like ur a minority goin through a struggle...everyone struggles...no matter wat color u r...cuz its all about money u fuckhead look at these rich fucks houses and look at the roach filled trailer u live in...u c where this is goin?

  • I bend over for no one, and the reason why I'm saying this is that America is now becoming more foreign. Everything is owned by the God Damned foreigners. I refuse to let this country be subjected to this atrocious act. And I bet you're living on welfare, having to scrap for food so you won't die ever since your father left you and your whore of a mother killed herself.

  • It's when you boycot, and say no to buy things, for a stupid reason (such as this) that you end up scraping food up from the pavement.

This isn't a big deal in any way. Get over it.

  • "but will that stop beer lovers from buying the brew?"

Um...no. Americans have been bought and sold a million times over. The stupid Nascar-watching beer bellied slobs will keep drinking that bland piss water no matter who owns it. I don't drink, so this won't effect me.

All you sheep who are whining about this should hit an AA meeting instead of the bar tonight.

    Stupid fat asses.

  • "drinking that bland piss water no matter who owns it"

    "I don't drink"

How would you know if taste like bland piss water if you never drink?????

    Another fucking brain dead YouTuber.

  • We have been buying foreign market companies for years. This is not different except it's one of our companies. Do you honestly the new owners would be foolish enough to actually change the recipe? It's a top seller in the US and would be a mistake to do so. The old saying Don't fix what isn't broken. It really shouldn't make to you really, you'll still get the same exact beer. No factories will close or employees laid off. If any, they will produce more Europeans along side Bud. More choice.

  • God Damned foreigners..

  • im belgian and proud also im not against american BUT FUCK THOS NAZI DAMNIT

  • ..Who are you calling nazis?

  • When America can't even own its own #1 beer company we ARE screwed...

  • we are so screwed i bet we cant even own america anymore

  • You're an idiot. Stay in school and pay attention.

  • you stay in school and leave me alone

  • The Belgians, they share a border with the Dutch.
