@The2cool4you Use a video editor and count frames of animation from the first white flash (there are two in this assassination) until the first frame of the kill animation. I edit at 30 frames per second, so divide the number of frames by 30. Good question.
"You only get one shot at this per Memory Block playthrough."
Not necessarily. If you don't mind replaying through Arsuf's little battles then just restart the game. You'll get another chance at the assassination.
Nice strategy. Now, can I ask you one thing... Can you exploit a way back into the Jeruselum Eden's piece holding place? I've always wanted to get back in there.
You're referring to Solomon's Temple. It's under the Temple Mount in the Rich District of Jerusalem, beneath the Dome of the Rock. The entrance is actually in the Poor District - the crumbling wall behind Majd Addin. His execution platform blocks the opening.
I doubt that an exploit could be found to re-enter Solomon's Temple after MB1 because it's a separately loaded map in the game.
I did this on the PC on my first try, but was not exactly a blitz, when already locking the templar, I locked Robert, selected the hidden blade and killed him before he could pass the invisible wall, wasn't as fast as your technique. And BTW no PC tutorial, for PC it would be:

I find it oddly appropriate that the 360 controller stance has the player press the assassination button with the ring finger.

-Press W and A
-Press 2 for hidden blade then press left click
Good tutorial and good blitz record
