with all the lunatic drivers around la, i wouldn't trust my life on it for a daily commute.

but, if you could find someone to carpool with, you could get there in one piece. plus it's faster through an express lane than driving through rush hour solo.

I'm with you. I took the Big Blue Bus in LA from Venice to LAX every day for several months (total trip: 7 miles) and it took anywhere from 20 mins to an hour because after the first couple morning buses, they never quite run at the same time each day.

I just made pretty much this exact same journey for 3 months while interning in LA. 2.5hrs there and same back. So much running for buses etc - insane.

2:31 pretty much summed up your commute. It told me this: "I'm an empty bus. I'm in Los Angeles. Public transportation in L.A. is God-awful. Therefore, I am an empty bus."
