Their is certainly a reduction in the brow bone & I think your brow is now within female range, however you should have consulted with as many maxillofacial surgeons as possible before parting with $25,000! Dr S probably didnt suggest sinus set back because very few surgeons in the world are 'know' for that type of work.

Maya's surgery seems to have had some mixed results as she says. Her jaw and nose look good I think, but her forehead is still fairly masculine unfortunately, and I would say that some bossing still exists in some way, also Maya's hairline is not that fantastic unfortunately. I really feel for her :(
I had forehead surgery done in Thailand and it was much cheaper. The forehead change I got was awesome but by nose job sucked.

DONT GIVE UP !!!!!! You are at a very good age to start hormones injection. The mind is also a very powerful medicine (you are a very stronge minded woman). Start working on your voice. Before you know it you will be passable and become a beauitful woman. I am sorry to hear you have got a frustrating result, I have never met someone who started her transition by FFS without hormones, without voice therapy etc. A friend of mine got a perfect FFS in Thailand - they really turned a monster into a pretty woman.
Continue.... I found only two out of several passable females that were not passable before and after the FFS surgery. Maya wants to be a woman then damm-it she is going to have to work on it first (like her life depend on it) before thinking about another surgery. Work on your voice, a new look (wig for now instade of that scarf), etc... I think that the mind is the most powerfull drug. If you start to think as yourself as a female 100% and more you will start to look femenine.
First off SURGERY IS A RISK !!!! Unknown what will be the out come. Yes, I don't see any improvements in Maya. I have to say she still have that male facial features look after surgery. When I had a consultation with Dr. O this year, what I found was that most of there before and after pictures on there computer were passable females before the surgery. After the surgery there were slight improvements but they were passable in the first place.
ive also had ffs paid alot but the outcome is not to have this extremely high expectation... alot of trans get stuck on cosmetic appearance where they focus time and money on that one thing and its not about drastic its about a whole bunch of subtle things that cue people to the gender you want them to think of you. think of it as another improvment and many more will come not just cosmetically
Fieldofaware, if anybody is "and" idiot, it's you. Maya is being far too critical about her own looks, and you're just feeding into that. People tend to look their best when they've had as little surgery as possible. You get the minimum done, and anything beyond that just makes you look artifical. She doesn't NEED anything done over, she just needs to work with what she has! It's her choice whether to do more, but she already looks pretty good.
this video is only after one month, lol. Surgeons arn't miracle workers you know...Sometimnes it takes a lifetime to get it right. Hopefully that wont be her case but I wouldn't eliminate the possibility. If you already look good as a guy then it tends to be really hard to feminize and several surgeries later you still could look like a guy.

A lot of M2Fs think they have to have a lot of surgery, they think they have to look more femme than most genetic girls do, and they go too far and end up looking unnatural and rubbery. You look very natural, so STOP here. You might want to work on your hairline, but your face looks very femme and your forehead is fine. Concentrate on the voice, makeup, etc. Your FACE looks lovely. Hope it all works out for you. I think you might have to go to another surgeon for your forehead and I also recommend getting hair grafts from the back of your head and using them to fill in your large hairline (whihc looks receding like a man's). It shouldn't be too much of a problem and you'll be surprised at how much more femminine a smaller hairline will make you look even though originally you might have thought about every part of your face but your hairline.
what about working on your voice? hows that? it would be good to have a voice thats female to match a beautiful face. i worked on mine and it has changed so much for me.

personally I don't bebieve in the myth of being born in the wrong body, but I understand that it helps tg people to accept them selves by saying that. In my oppinion it's just a choice of a life style. Which is fine, we're free people. But stop saying you don't have choice.

By definition of how God made them.. are you saying that someone who was born with a life threatening illness shouldn't fix it because God made them that way? You give Christians a bad name. Dina.... walk away, you don't know what you're talking about.. Its destructive to not do this to yourself if you are transgendered. You will never understand the PAIN and agony we went through with being referred to as the wrong gender for years and even decades for most. The survival rate sucks in many cases. DONT GIVE UP !!!!!! You are at a very good age to start hormones injection. The mind is also a very powerful medicine (you are a very stronge minded woman). Start working on your voice. Before you know it you will be passable and become a beauitful woman. I worked in a female impersonation club for years and the customers I have view were ex. gang members and hardcore males that turn into a beautiful passable woman. Now thats extreme.

I'm sorry but your video is dissapointing to me, Maya. You've made an effort to go under 'the knife' and paid a lot of money but your mannerisms all show male to me. I really don't mean to be harsh...but if you put a little effort into how you present yourself it'll make the bigger difference (such as not using 'got' and other male slangs) I hope you try to see more into yourself than a face, you'll feel better about yourself.

So Heavyflower is the perfect female that has walked over this earth. Even much more perfect then a genetic female. Dear there are women that I know are extremely femininity but love to ware jeans and like to work on there cars.
Also to add I don't know if you are a woman. you could be a man because you did not state that in your bio. If you are a typical male then it fits for a male to make a statement like that.

I am sorry to hear you have got a frustrating result, I have never met someone who started her transition by FFS without hormones, without voice therapy etc. A friend of mine got a perfect FFS in Thailand - they really turned a monster into a pretty woman.

Continue.... I found only two out of several passable females that were not passable before and after the FFS surgery. Maya wants to be a woman then damm-it she is going to have to work on it first (like her life depend on it) before thinking about another surgery. Work on your voice, a new look (wig for now instade of that scarf), etc... I think that the mind is the most powerfull drug. If you start to think as yourself as a female 100% and more you will start to look femenine.

First off SURGERY IS A RISK !!!! Unknown what will be the out come. Yes, I don't see any improvements in Maya. I have to say she still have that male facial features look after surgery. When I had a consultation with Dr. O this year, what I found was that most of there before and after pictures on there computer were passable females before the surgery. After the surgery there were slight improvements but they were passable in the first place.

ive also had ffs paid alot but the outcome is not to have this extremely high expectation... alot of trans get stuck on cosmetic appearance where they focus time and money on that one thing and its not about drastic its about a whole bunch of subtle things that cue people to the gender you want them to think of you. think of it as another improvment and many more will come not just cosmetically

Fieldofaware, if anybody is "and" idiot, it's you. Maya is being far too critical about her own looks, and you're just feeding into that. People tend to look their best when they've had as little surgery as possible. You get the minimum done, and anything beyond that just makes you look artifical. She doesn't NEED anything done over, she just needs to work with what she has! It's her choice whether to do more, but she already looks pretty good.

What does looking your best have to do with bone feminization? It is about looking female.
You are entitled to your opinion, as I am entitled to mine and her bone structure looks male not female.
She paid a lot of money
for her forehead to look female and Dr Spiegel should redo it for free.
Maya is very correct about her forehead.

this video is only after one month, lol. Surgeons arn't miracle workers you know...Sometimnes it takes a lifetime to get it right. Hopefully that wont be her case but I wouldn't eliminate the possibility. If you already look good as a guy then it tends to be really hard to feminize and several surgeries later you still could look like a guy.

OK, seriously, ignore the comments about needing to have more work done! You look great at is. A lot of M2Fs think they have to have a lot of surgery, they think they have to look more femme than most genetic girls do, and they go too far and end up looking unnatural and rubbery. You look very natural, so STOP here. You might want to work on your hairline, but your face looks very femme and your forehead is fine. Concentrate on the voice, makeup, etc. Your FACE looks lovely. Leave it be!

Hope it all works out for you. I think you might have to go to another surgeon for your forehead and I also recommend getting hair grafts from the back of your head and using them to fill in your large hairline (whihc looks receding like a man's). It shouldn't be too much of a problem and you'll be surprised at how much more femminine a smaller hairline will make you look even though originally you might have thought about every part of your face but your hairline.
