Moose near the roads are always very dangerous.They can be very unpredictable. Even if they are on the side of the road they can suddenly sprint to the road. We have lots of moose to car collisions here in Finland. Many times they can be lethal (especially on motorists). Too many people ignore the warning signs on the roads.
I do have to say it is very beautiful up here even when it is all white with snow. And it has gone up 2.1 degrees on average since 2000. Global warming seems to be a good thing up here and we can all look forward to a transpolar cruise in the near future.

Different year and different part of town. Many of the Urban Moose have twins and there must be in the hundreds; moose born, just in town.

2008 Coolest summer on record (till 1990) and that I can remember up here in the last 32 years.
