  • is this the actual interior of the church... anyways this song is disturbing... I remember it from the movie.... what a sick F$%K

  • Sickening cult. Anyone who follows a loser like Jim Jones is pathetic. You have to have a license to be that stupid. And I'm old enough to remember this very well. I was 18 at the time.

  • scarrry

  • Cult Music!

  • "LIE" was better.

  • Dude, this reminds me of Michael Madsen & "Stuck in the Middle with You", only much much worse.

  • H - A - double R I - G A N spells Harrigan. (The opening song) This is the worst church music I've ever heard. The second song (contrived rip off of O sole mio) should have raised some eyebrows. Third song isn't bad. Fourth song is another contrived rip off of 'Baby Love' by the Supremes. These people were fooled on SO many levels.

  • How are they singing gospel songs when he didn't even believe in God?

  • @bluegrassbaby86 His Church was outwardly Christian, although at times song lyrics were subtly altered to indirectly promote Jones (instead of God or Jesus they'd say "Him" or whatever.) Even in Jonestown many older residents still thought that the whole project was still basically Christian.

  • seriously??? the peoples temple still exsist???

  • @xMizzToxicAmazingx i actully wouldnt be suprised hey.

  • Notice above the stage, there is the yellow disk-shaped thing, it doubles as a sun symbol, and as the eye (the all seeing eye of Ra).

  • Death in June's versions of these songs are better! ''He's disabled'' for example,

  • This sounds like It's now or never by Elvis Presley.

  • This scares the daylights outta me.

  • Very poignant - with the exception of the track sung by Jim Jones himself. God bless all of the idealistic, trusting souls of all ages, and the survivors who lived such a horrific event.

  • @TreblePop wich one did he sing?

  • Extremely disturbing... I believe the children of Jonestown also sang the "Welcome Song" during Congressman Ryan's visit to Jonestown on November 17, 1978, one day before the massacre/suicide. To think that many of the children singing here were murdered is heartbreaking, to say the least. The Peoples Temple had lofty ideals, including racial integration, and the acceptance of minorities (including gays and lesbians). Unfortunately, it was led by a psychotic, drug-addicted megalomaniac.

  • such beautiful music
