  • @TheMopar01

I'm 19 and I completely agree w/ you. It is a shame.. however, I see that as a good thing. For one, it's hard enough finding cars like these on the market as it is. They're rare. I'm looking for a 68 Dodge Charger R/T atm... can't wait till I find a reasonable one.

  • @rminitials I did find a 68 a while ago on CL for $4,000 and it was a good deal, just wait, there will be a good deal, Good deals come on to CL every once and a while.

  • Beautiful car and you have it purring nicely!!!! From San Antonio, Texas

  • wow that sounds amazing.....i love dodge

  • man these are tuff looking cars...

  • Love this car, The Bark seems to be worse than the BITE though... Kinda disappointing performance at least in this video...

  • @fastphred its a automatic. big diffrence

  • All I kept thinkin was come on punch it...oh you did. Very awesome car though.

  • I remember seeing these new on the dealer lot. I thought, 'How cool, three tail lights,' but was disappointed that it was fake, and cheezy at that. But I still love 'em.

  • NO ONE made a muscle car like dodge and plymouth did... poor plymouth i dont get why they had to go out of business..It should be illegal for plymouth to go out of business because of the cars they gave us, such as the roadrunner

    gtx

    duster

    cuda and all the others

  • what kind of exhaust system do you have on it? and what kind of headers on it to ?

  • What motor do you have in it? and what exhaust set up?

  • sounds beautiful

  • ich bin einfach imfalschen land geboren ich könnte total ausflippen wenn ich den coronet sehe meinen glückwunsch zu deinem schicken baby gruß

  • Very nice. I remember walking through the new car parking lot as a boy with my father and looking at those. I always used to want him to get a Charger, or a Superbee or anything with the cartoon on it. He ended up getting a Newport. LOL.

  • @gnrdude You're officially an idiot.

  • connerconn--where you from in SD? I'm originally from Salem, but now located in the UK.

  • Dang two-footed drivers

  • That is one sweet car!

  • The only negative thing i can make about this car is the fact that it is an automatic. If I had this car i would put a 4 speed in the floor and be happy. Nevertheless a beauty of a car many props.

  • mate that thing sounds tuff az nails luv it

  • Nothing says Coronet 500 like a sandal on the throttle. Great car, sir.

  • Sounds, and looks absolutely gorgeous, man.

  • I'll saw my left arm off with a hacksaw if you give me that car.

  • lol theres the kids toys in the yard these are my toys! lol

  • Her damit!!!

  • i like the tire spin then it catches grip bd ass, inspiration for my build right now im with a Coronet superbee 69 rust bucket for now this video makes me wanna work harder for my dream car. i know where to get a bunch of old muscle cars for cheap there everywhere here in South Dakota

  • This car is awesome i wish i could have one my dream is to have an orange dodge charger 69

  • from a fellow mopar lover and tech, im VERY jealous of your collection! my 72 duster 440 will be done soon, keep an eye out

  • oh my G** that car, is friggin super gorgeous

  • i will definitly buy a mopar next year when i got the cash

  • Love the fog lights. Classic 60s style! Useful when tearing up those country roads.

  • My hometown hero had a 1967 Coronet R/T, red with black vinyl top and a couple years later his sister bought a 69 Coronet R/T, dark green with black vinyl top. The 67 started my life long love of Mopars. At one point in time I owned a beautiful 69 GTX 440 which I had for many years. Sure wish I had it today .

  • At 1:08 I was looking at your left foot and is you were just holding down the clutch and was thinking wtf to myself then it zoomed out and I saw the automatic :[

  • To all Import Owners: This is what we call a car with balls. Not your litlle 150 horsepower fart-cannons.

  • right on

  • @Craziguitarman321 please dont suggest all imports are the ricers with the coffee cans on their exhaust, mercedes, bmw, audi, porsche they're considered imports and they have more the 150 hp, and "this car with balls" has mods done to it, ik older engines are bad ass (we own a 1978 440 that resides in a 1984 dodge ram) but german power is a challenge for american muscle.

  • @Craziguitarman321 I happen to have a Coronet and a Nissan Skyline R34. While the coronet will beat the my Skyline on a Straight away, the Skyline will turn circles around any muscle car. And P.S. The skyline gets 690hp

  • @Craziguitarman321 Wow...is that statement for ALL import owners? Don't confuse power with performance. Just because a car has a big engine doesn't make it fast. I'd sooner take a car with less HP that can actually manage a corner and stop before something with an archaic suspension with undersized brakes that can't manage to handle its way out of a paper bag. Save the HP comment, my car makes plenty of that too. 914 2.0 liter+back road=Coronet in the rear view mirror.

  • @HerrKuhn928

914, 2.0 liter...how cute. What do you wanna be when you grow up?

  • @zorratr I never said I owned a 914, only that that would dbe all I would need to run away from said "muscle car" on a back road. The car I own will also do that and to boot run away in a straight line as well. Have a look at my videos and you'll see what I'm referring to. I just strapped one of my builds down to a dyno and we made more HP and torque than a heavily modified 1969 GTX and for less than half the money and it still can run on pump gas and get 20 MPH on the highway.

  • @Craziguitarman321 Amen to that brother!

  • @Craziguitarman321 What I can't figure out is why they put those loud pipes on those rice rockets just to advertise to the world that they have NOTHING

  • @Craziguitarman321 Hey my '02 bone-stock Elantra has 141 hp, stop hatin'! =P Alright... It's not bone stock. I spray-painted over the steel wheels and they're rusty now.

  • @Craziguitarman321 Amen to that

  • @Craziguitarman321 well guess what asshat, not all of us can afford to build a beautiful machine like this one and all i can afford is my civic si and i like it. i love american muscle but its just not in my budget, so pardon me for bein poor! wish i could afford a vintage mopar but i cant, so kudos to all who do build them, and fuck you ass hole for such a demeaning comment!

  • @Craziguitarman321 your so dumb its funny. That car would get smoked in the curves by a 150 farcannon.

  • @Chunpower who gives a shit about corners....id rather own something that can scare the shit out of me in a straight line then something that grips and turns well. i have a 92 toyota supra twinturbo gt limited ( japan only version 1jzgte and full leather) and im saveing to get for hemis only to build me a 572 cubic inch motor to put in it. i love japanese cars they are built really well and my supra is very rare but im over jz motors i want some real torque and the only good v8s are hemis.

  • the charge was a coronet. the title of the charger would say:dodge charger coronet

  • they dont makem like they used to, sadly

  • they brought back the camaro, challenger, and charger, but where the hell is the coronet?

  • thats what im saying,i prefer the coronet over all of those

  • Mopar should rename the current charger a coronet b/c of the 4 doors.

and make a new two-door charger, with retro styling to un-disgrace the legendary charger name tag!!

  • @JonMinney1 this is something that I barely noticed. If you pay attention to the front end of the new chargers, they look more like a 1970 coronet, because of the lights on how they're positioned. If they wanted to make the charger look more like the old one, they should have put the front grill design with the hide away lights from the old one. I hope they can bring back the dart and the demon. And if they can, i hope they bring back the roadrunner and the cuda, even though plymouth is gone.

  • @619426 Demon is coming back. Well, hopefully. They have a concept thats still being considered. Google it.

  • @JonMinney1 why would you want them to bring back the coronet ? alls itll be is the badge of a once great car on a modern plastic peice of shit, i dont think the new cars are worthy of wearing those badges. thats my opinion tho

  • @JonMinney1

i sure the hell hope they dont bring it back.

they ruined all of the other good car names, i hope they just leave the coronet/superbee alone in its glory, fuck the rehash bullshit.

  • @JonMinney1 it is not brought back like the other ones should not have been.a classic will always be a classic.the new fat retro cars like mustang and challenger are not very nice in my opinion.

  • @JonMinney1 they broght back the super bee

  • sweet ride man,i have a 69 coronet 500 with a 440.absolutely awesome

  • hmmm how come they dont make cars like this in my generation? :(

  • B, A, C, or E bodies.

    Mopars rule.!! :o)

  • Awsome car, I'm looking for a '69 Coronet to go along with my '68 Charger and '70 Challenger

  • i noticed that i saw the other vid that showed it so i stand corrected

  • its cool man it does kinda look like a duster though. both A bodys and when you just get to see the running and head lights it did look similar. but the front fender and bumper are a dead giveaway haha

  • yea i didnt even look at the bumper i jus saw the grill but i wasnt really lookin lol

  • sad vid bro. when car pulled out of shed you had it zoomed right in only on the front headlights. shouldve zoomed out and showed all ther car

  • BAD ASS RIDE YOU HAVE THERE!!!

  • haha.. Good. Hope to have decent competition soon. lol

Appreciate the unspoken compliment, glad I could sway towards a Coronet.

  • @telecoustic

My dad had when I was little a 4 door 68 Coronet beautiful damn cars I'm 24 and If i purchase a classic car its definitely going to be a Coronet

  • Love your car. Check out OIL SPILL ELIMINATOR on You Tube

  • what is the purpose of the pins in hte hood? My cousin's roadrunner had them.

  • to keep your hood from coming up on the 1/4 mile runs!

  • The hood is probably fiberglass, so the hood is very light. So you need hood pins on the hood to keep it from blowing off.

  • Lose the yellow lights and lame fuzzy dice and it'll be perfect.

  • nice sound, nice car, I also saw a dream car in your garage, a Barracuda same colour as my father had in 1968; would like to found the same.. you are lucky man!

  • What a jewell of car... it sounds like heaven.

In sandalls yes, but in a mopar.... nothing dress better than a v8 xD

Thx for share I love this car 5*

  • fuck u theyre flip flops and theyre awesome

  • MOPAR RACING>ford,gm

  • agree, and ford &gm > jap ricer cars

  • american muscle > jap ricer...that is, until you ask them to TURN A FUCKING CORNER.
