  • YEA!

  • i love the Nieuport 11.

  • WTF?

Did their landing gear come off?

  • Nah mate, that's an optical illusion that is. If the gear had come off the prop would have shattered.

  • cool i see the lewis gun mounted on that air plane

  • wow, I agree, these planes are scaled down. I'd rather see fewer planes of the correct scale, but that's jut me.

  • @Dauntless07 I guess you should just praise them for their time, effort, patience and the money they spent to make the birds that they do have, and stop bitching and complaining that they arent the correct scale. Big fucking deal.

  • The Curtiss Jenny is 3/4 scale. The Neuports are full scale, they were a tiny aircraft in their time and . The Sopwith "Pup" is a full scale reproduction with a rotary engine, the torque must be murderous.

  • @wilhelm2ss, thanks for clearing that up. ;)

  • wtf....

  • what do u mean what the fuck this vid is cool it has the lewis gun mk3 19 pound light machine gun mounted on that plane that made it strong as a fleet of riflemen

  • I still go for camel

  • Wow, some of these replicas are seriously scaled down.

  • I wiil say that the DR7 Fucker will win.

Oh Yea the Rice Heads bomb London your falkered up pal.

    Read the history book Fucker.

  • u are very wrong. some of the planes had back gunners or front guns.

  • Japs bombing london what the fuck u talkin bout. Do you mind explaining ur comment because i dont understand??

  • lol

  • what?

  • Just so you know, the Nieuport (2 wings) had a single machine mounted on the top wing, as you can see, while the Fokker Triplane had 2 machine guns mounted on the fuselage, the hull, of the aircraft.

  • what you talking about they had forward mounted machine guns

  • In the very earliest dogfights, improvised weapons such as rifles, pistols and yes even bricks were used. But in very short time, the concept evolved into first modifying existing planes with machine guns where ever they could, then building them into the plane, and then finally synchronized guns to fire through the props. Some of the larger planes and recon planes still used a turret design through out the war. So yes, you are very wrong.......

  • Was the sopwith really that small!?

  • No, none of the airplanes shown here was this smll. They are about 75% the real size, since these are classed as Ultralights.. meaning you dont need a PPL to fly them ;)

  • Tridecker is German for triplane, or something around that.

  • its spelled Driedekker and yes, it means triplane. :)

  • Uhm yes its a German Fokker Dr1a, fighting with a French Nieuport 17.

  • That's pretty cool. I've never seen a re-enactment in real life before.

  • You need to go to one, they are awesome!
