quick q: if an ai is friendly is their religion more likely to spread to you? Taoism spread to you real quick... i think you talked about this in the commentary but i didnt really understand
Border pops are one major reason I like having a state religion when I'm a non-creative civ; You can make a missionary in a more developed city and send him to the new city (or ideally, make him before the settler is finished and get 1cpt to boot).
It costs 10 hammers more, but it's a lot quicker than first building the monument and then waiting for 10 turns. Also, 30 hammers for a start-up city are more valuable than 40 hammers for a well-established city, IMO.
I barely know of Mega Man, and I still think the clip is fun. And the smile is spooky. Thanks.
I absorb info much better in writing, so I will have to go to Civ Fanatics and read a lot. I still wonder, with all your concerns about wasting hammers on military, why you would move your capital barely a dozen tiles away. And if you want National Epic, yet avoid war, how are you going to meet barbs?
What? You’re already able to build NE? When did you get 10 XP on a unit?
After taking a two week break from Civ and coming back, it really hit me how little I really know about the game. And now it gets discouraging when I can't beat emperor when I don't know how to adapt to it.
was it really worth trading the two spice tiles for the one rice? Just seems like an awkward city spot, when you could have picked up Rice in the other city, though at the loss of a Freshwater settling point. Though without the Great Lighthouse you didn't lose too much by not being coastal, I think?
hey love the let's play's must have seen them all by now anyways was thinking could you do a vid about all the leaders when they war etc also give us tips about what to do if we wish to play online i go on gamespy and no ones ever on?
hey TMIT, love ur vids, ur the only GOOD civ player ive found of youtube. I've scoured civfanatics, but i can't find these AI descriptions (where you go into detail on plotting war at pleased, cautious, etc. , "unit pop" i think you called it, and other things. Is there I site where I could just see a list of what each AI does? or maybe could you make a vid? :)
Perhaps that AP victory would be too much cheese for youtube, but I'm curious: what's the general strategy for settling just one city? How is it at all beneficial?

@iamcaesar2 No, I just got lucky. Spread chance is only influenced by the presence of a trade network and whether it has a shrine.
Friendly AI (or even cautious or pleased depending) might send missionaries though.

Where do you find the statistics for the AIs? I've looked a bit on the forums but haven't found anything. Could you link?

how do you set waypoints for your units

@arms53 You can queue orders by keeping shift pressed. Works for any order, move, build, whatever.
