  • My layout is sorta based on Pennsylvania but I like the Canadian Alcos there nice! I might customize a train and maybe put some tanktrain on it.

  • thats a nice train but you need to run em faster!

  • Legacy Rules! LOL looks great!

  • awesome vid dude! cant wait for more dude!

  • @Southerntreatment Thanks alot for a great comment man! I'll work on some new stuff.

  • Man I can't get enough of the horn on the SD70M-2! I'm so stoked about the new NS version! :D

  • @PghTrainFanatic Well there's no problem with that LMAO! I didnt know they're putting one out in NS scheme. If it is an M-2 it'll be awesome. I bet you'll be all over that haha.

  • @LionelCNTrainGuy You know it! :D

  • @PghTrainFanatic thats not an SD70M thats the SD70ACE

  • @Trainmasterryan I'm afraid you are wrong. Its an SD70M-2, Trust me I have one, but in NS. Here is the Lionel product # 6-31787

  • @PghTrainFanatic lionel had a mis-type, look at the rectangular front and the extended vents to the rear, trust me i drive ACE's all the time

  • @Trainmasterryan No you are wrong, I have an SD70ACE & a SD70M-2 are there are differences.

The SD70ACe has intakes on the electrical cabinet, directly behind the cab on the conductor's side of the unit. Directly aft of the intakes is a large square panel, on older ACe's the panel is a plain "X" panel, on newer runs, the panel has some louvers. Above the cabinet, there is a section that sticks out from the hood.

  • Respond to this video... The SD70M-2 does not have these intakes, but rather 3 panels with small latch holes. The panel aft of this has a square grid. The bumped out panel above the cabinet is non-existent. A small triangular panel is mounted below the frame, under the cabinet as well.

  • @Trainmasterryan So, Lionel didn't have a mistype!

  • Awesome video!! I love that horn! keep the videos coming!

  • @aocruiser Well who doesn't like the horn haha! Thanks alot for the great comment man!

  • i dont understand how leagacy and TMCC and things work together

  • @MrMixNix Think of the engine as a RC car you tell it to go left or right and forwards and backward. Except for the train you can only move forwards and back wards on the rails. TMCC and Legacy are basically the same, TMCC was Lionels first remote that controlled trains that had TMCC circuitry installed. It has since been discontinued from Lionels line because of its dated hardware. The new Legacy system runs what you could call TMCC 2 software. 1/2

  • @Bretattech Thanks Brett.

  • @MrMixNix 2/2 The new system takes all the old features and adds to them to create a more realistic train. The legacy system can operate old trains running on TMCC software or trains running Legacy software. Now for everything to work together you need the track, an engine with legacy or TMCC software, the remote and its base unit, and a power supply. With power supplied to the base and the track the engine will recognize the base and await instructions from the remote. That's all there is to it.

  • @MrMixNix What Brett said.

  • Nice set! I love that horn!

  • @steampower2001 Thanks! IT is definatley my favorite in person and across the interwebs

  • Dude Very Nice Run! :D

  • @MthRailFanatic Thanks dude.
