My dad grew up in Beverly off of W 95th on S Leavitt street. I think they lived there for 7 years before moving out to the western suburbs. We still stop by Rainbow during the summer!
This entire area is white trash living in expensive homes. Doesn't matter how much you dress it up, a pig is still a pig. That goes for Evergreen, Oak Lawn and Mount Greenwood.
@trystal1975 the ENTIRE area huh....ignorant sob. aren't you too old for that type of talk. And where might your classy self live? Trystal....sounds like a really classy name.
I've spent a lot of time in Southern CAlifornia, and a fair amount in Pasadena. I'd agree with your assessment, with one major difference. Beverly isn't close to anything like Pasadena proper.
Kind of true. But the other day I made it from a friends house in Beverly to meet an old high school friend downtown on Madison in 20 mins (at night). It takes 10 mins from South Pas to downtown and 20 mins to Hollywood (at night). Both towns have train service out also. Thanks for sharing.
I live in central beverly which I think you should have showcased because it has large historic homes to especially longwood.avoid east bevely(east of vanderpool). I dont like the way you call it mixed because it is still largely irsish. at the grammer school i went to not far from where your filming almost everyone was irsish and the was no or very little minorities

North Beverly sucks. The roads are confusing as fuck. You cant make a left turn anywhere. West Beverly is where its at.

@whitesoxpride773 Don't you mean East Mount Greenwood?

@whitesoxpride773 I know, I live there. There are a bunch of culvasacs and you can't get out of the neighborhood.

I love and hate Chicago. I'm in South Pasadena, CA now which I would say is a cousin of Beverly.
