Mr bean comedy seems to be popular in non english speaking country's (e.g. germany) as his comedy is simple to understand and has no language barrier (e.g. he doesnt speak) . Therefore making it popular in countries which lack their own comedians.

I loved that movie. When they showed it in my local theater, right when Mr. Bean blows up the movie set they had problems in the movie booth so the screen went black. It took a couple minutes for us all to realize that it wasn't part of the movie!

that movie sucked! the old tv series that thet put on in the early 90s was way better and funnier, seems like this movie was put out for a 2 year old audience, i didnt get a single laugh out of it, at least in the tv series he acted like he was for real when he got self in all those accidents an it was funny, but in this movie its like he was just acting stupid on purpose and in desperation to get attention
