to be honest, I am glad to see that this is staged (as evidenced by the camera placings) atleast in so far as the runner must be in on the joke. Ghostrider is awesome but if he was deliberately provoking intermediate skilled riders to run then chasing them down hard and putting them under pressure then I couldn't respect that. It's one thing for GR to risk his own life but to lure lesser riders into ridiculously dangerous high speed pursuits just for some cool footage would be too much.

I agree. But in that sense we all risk people's lives on the roads because there is always potential for catastrophe at all speeds with any vehicle. Its not really the inherent danger that Im referring to anyway, but the element of deceit if GR was tricking riders into thinking he was the cops creating dangerous situations as a result. An accident is an honest mistake no matter how danerously someone is riding but that element of deceit would make GR especially culpable for any crash IMO.

Both riders are putting themselves in massive danger whether or not it is staged. That is not my point. GR is awesome, but if he is trying to provoke someone (who is not as good a rider as him) into a street race then that is particularly irresponsible I think. People can do desperate things when they think they are being chased by the cops. I just think it is a bit reckless to involve a third party for a gimmick in the video. He doesnt need to masquerade as a cop to do a cool video.
