Good to hear another man, a white man at that, speak well of a brother. He could've easily reinforced the stereotypes surrounding George's character, but he instead spoke truthfully.
@79Yonkers7Resident79 While your never having been to prison can PARTLY be attributed to your character, keep in mind that A)you live in different times, and B) your life isn't over, so as long as you're alive you are susceptible to the will of the present administration meaning if a cop decides to lock you up, he can. If a jury decides to convict you, they can, and if a judge decides to uphold that conviction and punish you, he can. This is how innocents end up behind the wall & are kept there.
Shout out to my 276 comrades. The teachings of brother George Jackson will never die. All Black people need to get this knowledge. In fact, all people who are in america and being treated unfairly in the prison system. The struggle continues.... Don't give up. Shout out to my big brother Chin. You will be home soon man, you are also a victim of this system of keeping blacks and other so-called minorities in prison. Much love to you all, and Don't give up. Remember knowledge is POWER!!!
@smallfire0820 ? Are you claiming a concerted effort exists to imprison blacks et al? Rather than take issue with the laws which imprison other classes, you take issue with their application to your class of interest?
Dispartate impact aside, the incarceration is not the problem when the criminal law is just. Instead of alienating the majority with your racial nonsense, why not fight against unjust law regardless of its application to any particular class?
Todestroy these westerncapitalist institutions wemust build individuals examplery of comrade George for here is someone who faught notjust with words butin everyway possible until even death. Its sad howthe generations todayare being wasted away inthe appeal of the western materialistic and ego driven man, used onlyas economic puppets in complex institutions of profit connecting theworld, thestreetseverything to especially theprisons. This man is a goodreminder of the strengths wherewe fallshort.
There are a lot of fake victims walking around this world.
