I must admit that while they made a good choice with him and the voice of War, but Death's voice actor? I am not so sure about yet...

When Samael refers to his master I believe he is actually referring to Lilith...since it's a female voice heard tempting Abadon...

I always figured Samael was meant to be the Destroyer. But whoever controls Hell's Armies (The chick who talked to Abaddon after he died) either did not trust him or was afraid he would become too powerful.

Samael seems pretty much convicted to take what he believes is rightfully his, which I have no doubt is the Throne of Hell. So the first part of Darksiders was pretty much to give Satan the power to take back Hell...this game is so Metal.

I think it's pretty obvious, there's gonna be a Darksiders 2. The ending showed 3 more horsemen falling from the sky, War freeing them all from the council, Samael saying they'd meet again, and the fact that they even said they were making a second.

Too bad it had absolutely NO replayability though. I mean everyone made a big stink about Joe Mad being behind it, but there wasn't even a in game gallery for the art. Not to mention you spent all that time powering up only to be reduced to doing it again on the second go round with nothing to show for it but the other armor set. Other than that, I agree with you fully that it was a great game. They need some DLC like nowish.
