  • Hats off to him - I can't picture Ed Miliband as a raver somehow.

  • Comment removed

  • What is the song playing called? What's similar to it?

  • @MultiMcdaddy art of noise - moments in love

  • Think this was at the end of a sunrise or energy party somewhere?

  • Sublime .

  • lol defo does look like DC at 0:13....LAD.

  • i prefer woodstock, real musicians with real instruments than this computer-music crap

  • Looks like Cameron!

  • Looks like Howard out of Take that at the beginning LOL!!!

  • What a weird video. That's our current Prime Minister at 0.13, isn't it?

  • OMG, this video gets stranger and stranger, We have had David Cameron, Robert Webb, Andy Peters, and I just spotted Lembit Opik at 1:39 - 1:42. HAHAHA!!

  • Does anyone know where was this filmed?

  • the art of noise. moments in love.

  • The guy at the start gets it.

  • can anyone name the track?

    there's a sample that ring a bell :s

  • All David Cameron needs to do to prove that wasn't him in the video at 00:13 is provide pictures of what he looked like in 1988 and as he hasn't done that I'm going to assume it's him or that he has something else to hide. :o)

  • @ArccaDaton We alredy kno wot he looked like -the infamous Bullingdon Club photos of him with all his uppr class frends @university wer taken around 1988 and he looks just like yu'd imagine an upper class young man wud- about the last place cameron wud hav bin was mixin with the proles @ a rave. tony-colston-hayter aside i dont recall many "posh" people being there. Cameron's already admitted to spendin his university yrs in the far more typical middle class student habit of bein a Smiths fan.

  • David Cameron - Raver? Very possibly.

I don't cast my votes on whether the candidate ever went raving. (wish life were that simple!) BUT- if it is him, especially this early on in the scene, he couldn't have left that party without some PLUR instilled within. And considering he's now running this country - this can only be good news imo, and he sooo shouldn't deny it now. ;-)

  • dunno if thats webb, he would of been 16, that guy looks older than 16 imo :S

  • God the 80s looked so fucking depressing

  • @gabe25591 thats slowmo 4 ya!

  • @gabe25591 wot more than 2010?!!!

  • What a party, David Cameron at 0:14, followed by Robert Webb at 0:31... And no, surely not...? Andy Peters at 1:33!!!!

  • Thanks thats the funniest thing i have read in years top marks im pissing myself

  • there's no sodding way that's not David Cameron. It's not just the look, it's the gormless, wealthy expression. Childish amazement at the sheer "Anti-establishment-ness" of it all. Pilled up wonderment at sharing the same field with a black person.

IT'S HIM, I TELL YOU, IT SIMPLY, BLUMMIN HAS TO BE!!!!!

  • So that's *not* Davie Cameron at 0.14? Maybe it was fellow right winger Paul Staines aka blogger Guido Faulkes?

  • o hai david cameron

  • Does anyone know if I can download this track or if its on a compilation album?

  • lmao

  • lolz

  • That aint cameron...

  • So who are these people then? And where are they now? Especially the one with jazzy cardigan! Are these the Eton boys? And what is that music?

  • Art of Noise - Love (not Moments in Love as has been stated above several times)

  • Aceeeeeed!!

  • Its that bloke off Time Team ;)

  • They're referring to the guy who briefly appears at 13/14 seconds only. I'd rather have someone who lived a little running the country than Gordon Brown who looks like a weird face someone has drawn on a scrotum.

  • Could well be him as he was a contempory of the young tories who ran sunrise and tried to persuade the party that Rave culture was simply an expression of entreprenurial culture!

    Did'nt work sadly!

  • oh look and theres margaret thatcher and is that a young winston churchil?

  • harold wilson was the dj

  • Politician goes to wild party in his youth. Yawn.

  • looks FUCK ALL like david cameron

  • Robert Webb from Peep Show @ 30 secs too!

  • when i saw that, that's the first thing that came in my mind, good old jez

  • lol which one is david cameron?

  • if it's him then no harm done - no big deal, rather have some relatively "normal" human being attempting to run the country than a bunch of robots. - this will only serve to work in his favour.

Althouh I'm sure since then he'll have been corrupted by "Common Purpose" (google it / youtube it) as have many of the "leaders" and big business figures around the world. Besides, regardless of who gets elected, the same puppet masters are always in control as anyone with half a brain can see.

  • I'll try to be unbiased (I'm a Tory, for the record).

Might be him, definitely looks similar enough.

He can't have grown that hair that quickly, so if it is him (assuming it's not a wig), there should be photos of him with long hair in 1988. He graduated then and started work, so should be easy enough to test.

  • This music is so chilled, it's really good. Moments in Love, by Art of Noise, for anyone wanting to track it down.

The rave scene as depicted here looks really great, too. Makes me wish I'd been born earlier so I could have been a part of it. Free association, loads of people just loading up into a field and having a great time. Looks awesome.

  • oh dear... David Cameron was kinda hot...

    i feel dirty

  • its okay its blatantly not him

  • Vote BNP this June

Time to ditch the Lib/Lab/Con trick dopes!

  • Why on earth would anyone want to vote for the BNP?

  • shut up you daft little cunt

  • So funny

  • Sorted for E's and whizz, eh Dave?

  • Could be him but need to do some research - find out who the other 3 blokes are in the final frame and ask them!

If it is him, his career is f****d!

  • I acutally doubt it would do much harm. Might annoy the traditionalists but would likely boost his popularity in most demographics - ie everyone under 50.

  • eh, whats the fuss. it looks fuck all like him!

  • The early part looks like him but when you see the same man at the end, you can see the differences.

  • It's David alright! It's impossible for two different people to be cursed with such an unfortunate face!

  • Dave you smackhead

  • Admit its you Dave, and it could be the Obama like break you need!

  • dave the rave! this man will get my vote!

  • Wo, what a party man. I was off my tits. If only I could go back to those days.

  • wow, ol'DC even manages to make raves incredibly dull

  • Chilled Ibiza compilation from 2000, I reckon. Produced by Warner Music Ltd. Track 14 on CD:01 to be precise! ;o)

  • he's in at the end also, about 1'55" but I don't think it's the leader of the opposition.

  • Gordon Brown is going to have to do better than this to win the next election.

  • I don't think we'll see pics of brown at a rave!

Robots don't do raves (well, unless you're kraftwerk) and socialists have no soul.

  • If It is Dave the Rave Cameron, It'll make him the most popular prime minister ever!

  • It very much looks like Dave E ing it up if you ask me?!

  • Dave would have never been allowed to grow his hair that long, its not him.

  • Oh, the good old days!

  • if it is Dave, good for him...most of the country has now been to a rave or a festival. It's part of life.

  • this video is on the daily mail website now

    congrats

  • Art of Noise - Moments In Love but not the LP version. Anyone know what mix?

  • 0:48

When you see it, you will shit bricks.

  • dave the rave...

  • Hi there, do you still have rushes from this?, i work for a TV prog who might be interested in them.

  • That's got to be 'Call me Dave' Cameron. Sweet! Mashing it up.

  • Is that David Cameron between 0:13 and 0:15? He'd certainly be about the right age.

  • Cameroonie!

  • Its All Gone Pete Tong?

That was the original idea though. To make hardcore raving into people dancing to Rare Groove & Soul. Why not try using the tracks they were really dancing too?

  • lovely!!We were all so innocent an pure back then!!!how times change !!!!lol xxx

  • Anton le prate was there - enough said!!

  • Do you still have the full unedited version? thanks for posting this...

  • Someone must know waht its called.

  • art of noise - moments in love.....amzing vid!

  • whats this tune called? its beautiful

  • whats this tune called? its beautiful

  • Doesn't look like a Sunrise party and I'm not sure that tune is old skool, the footage is definately 'back in the day' but theres only 20 or 30 people there, and the tune.. well it does ring a bell but I've got a feeling it's a downtempo chillout b-side from the early nineties..please prove me wrong tho as I'd like to know the answer too. :)

  • nah i just found it its called art of noise moments in love.

  • ok not a bad little tune nonetheless. cheers

  • Ther tune in this video is Moments in Love by Art of Noise. On an album from 1987 (?) although this sounds like it has been remixed slightly. The best way to play this was on -8 on a technics 1210...proppa :D
