Aslan is a Turkish name. There is a lot of Turkish name in Iran and Bosnia and albania. And also there is alot of Iranian name in Turkey, Albania.

BTW Faramarz Aslani is Persian and the Music he is wrote and played is also Persian but you can find smilar melodies from Midle East to south west Europe. That is why some people think this music is not Persian.

Not that our cultures is mixed from many years ago. borders cann not devide it.
