@MontagHeidi The stock power system can make it harder to fly because you do not have enough power to pull out of problems. That is why the upgraded power system is so amazing.
@Plane82Flyer Silver Metalic paint from Home Depot. If you use light spray to start off it will not bubble the foam. Do a test under the canopy first to make sure it can handle the paint you get.
Starting on a red bull jet right now and using the same paint. It is also a good idea to paint something other then silver on there for oriantaion. :)

It might be that metal tape used for sealing duct work or mylar film glued to it?

@lizard944 There is one small piece of metal take by the propeller to make sure it does not cut into the fuse.
