When I am on offense and I bring Burrows (or whoever else I have) behind and around the net to a wing my players that are in the slot always (AND I MEAN ALWAYS) skate away from the slot to the opposite wing that Burrows is on and it fucks up my scoring chances all the time. Wtf am I supposed to do? Why doesn't the AI stay in the slot to create a scoring chance??? FUCK YOU EA, YOUR AI ARE ALWAYS DUMB - SAME PROBLEM IN EVERY GAME.

I think EA should do something with ragequitters and give them a lesson. That will teach them to finish games.

I strongly disagree about your game speed comments. However, I think the best thing EA can do for online play is to let players control all sliders and create their own leagues and tournaments with full control. Let the marketplace of ideas sort this one out, everyone will find their "niche" and most grievances will be ended.

I see what you mean about needing an increase in speed. Problem is, it will ruin the game for people like me, who enjoy a nice sim game of hockey. But I do realize that 95% of the community wants a somewhat arcade feel because it is only a game. And of course EA has to cater to the bigger audience.

My suggestion, if they turn the speed up and make the game unsim again, take the 'NHL' out of the game and just name it EA Hockey ##. It's not an NHL game without the realistic feel.

@Jhonezy What they should is follow in the steps of 2K and bring in sliders. Sliders would allow us to customize the game to exactly what we want. Man, if they brought sliders in, that would be amazing. You could "cater" to the bigger audience and allow the people that want a sim game (me and you) to still have fun.

nhl 10 used to be resonably fast, then nhl11 came and i noticed a big slow down, so it'll proberly stay :(

The hip check in NHL12 is definitely overpowered. I can send a guy flying if he hits my players head or even if I'm skating the other way.

I've been playing for a week and actually enjoyed the slower game play. I do know what you mean but I think it adds a newer dimension to the way you approach playing the game. the movement from end to end. passing. setting up for the perfect shots. etc. I find myself being able to do much more on both ends and I really enjoy it! It took some getting used to but I do like it… much more than expected!

Now… Hitz, on the other hand - best arcade hockey game, ever. Needs a PS3 reboot! :)
