thank you for posting. When I was a kid I got very close to beating the black nigh but never made it before my copy of the game stopped working. By that time I could not get a new one because they stopped making it. I always wanted to know what happened. I am sort of surprised that the actual battle with the knight is so simple.
Played Dark Castle and this successor sooo much. My parents wouldn't let me play the first one because of the whipping executioner, but when they were away I broke into the diskcage and played the game anyway until I was old enough so my parents didn't care anymore and I could play it's successor as well. Never was able to finish it though. They were such difficult games, you can never serve this to todays gamers. I put them among the best Mac games, easily. Respect for finishing this game man!
@SoldierSide77 : Excactly. I like a challenge and don't mind to spent an hour repeating a level over and over untill it's finished. I noticed the video of Prince of Persia beside this conversation as well. Another good example of a classic challenge. New Super Mario Bros Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns are modern day examples of games which I find a good challenge.
Anyone knows a good, stable and virus-free Mac-simulator on which you can play these games?
@cornpit77 Go to macintoshgarden(dot)org(slash)guides. They have some great step by step setup guides for Mini Vmac, Basilisk, or SheepShaver, and links to download everything you need.
I loved this game. Thanks for posting. Great old sounds of yesteryear!
I never did make it to the Black Knights chamber. I finally now have closure in my life vicariously through you.

@cornpit77 - It's hard but I've played lots of modern games that are as hard as this too.
