  • What does SRO mean?

  • @LillianYunoki1 My best guess is Standing Room Only.

  • BLESS MY SOUL, HERC WAS ON A ROLL! UNNNNDEFEAAATED!

  • i love the muses.

  • This song wants to make you go to church!

  • the x2 speed is amazing.

  • this is fun to listen to! sing it ladies!

  • XD

  • Why is this not on broadway yet???

  • @iaintalks i would give an arm and a leg to see this on broadway

  • 4 people are still a zero ;)

  • i forgot the last time i herd this song and watched this movie! :c

  • Hercules, first pro.

  • I want to find it in Greek language

  • This movie was probably the most underrated Disney film of the 90s. It's totally rocking!

  • Another reason I'm glad to be a 90s kid

  • :)

  • How does it have any dislikes?!

  • @ilysm92 because 4 people didn't have a childhood

  • I really want some Herculade right now...

  • YESSSSSSSSSSS INDEED!

  • The replay button has been raped :D

  • Pain and panic were SO based on stereotypes of jews. Not that I care haha, but it's sooo obvious.

  • other than lion king this is the best movie in my opinion. Best songs without a doubt

  • @Comikkaze I think that this movie was even better than lion king! :)

  • Classic! no other words to describe!

  • i dont know who you are but MrsRig you are awesome

  • @mattsdchs78 <3

  • A'ight, I can't figure it out, when it says "point him at a monster and you're talking SRO" what the heck does 'SRO' mean??

  • @TheBlackBloodAlchemi

SRO betekend standing room only, dat betekend dat iedereen wil zien hoe hercules een monster verslaat en er geen plek meer is om te zitten.

  • @TheBlackBloodAlchemi

SRO means standing room only, that means that everybody wants to see hercules when he defeats a monster and there is no place to sit

  • @0BloodyRose Ohh! I get it, thank you so much! =]

  • best disney movie ever! :D

  • Never underestimate the power of Black gospel music lol!

  • epic.

  • awesome song :) makes me dance in my chair every time

  • One of the best Disney songs, so catchy, like hercules ;)

  • this song makes me wanna dance!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the Muses in this movie. They got soul! haha. I miss old Disney man.

  • i love this song cuz its from hercules

  • what does SRO mean ?

  • @runyoumofo Standing Room Only. Our show choir wondered the same thing.

  • I always thought the tale of Hercules was sad.

He ends up getting into a rage and killing his wife and children, which is why he then has to perform the twelve labors, or, as they are known now, "The 12 Labors of Hercules".

I prefer Disney in this case too.

  • whoever wrote the lyrics is an actual Genius!

  • How do people not like this movie

  • Ah...I remember watching this in the movie theaters. Always a good watch with friends.

  • Have you noticed Herc is glowing in this video? O_o

  • that is because that was when he turned into a god

  • Thats when he is a God :)

  • @Pilagengram yeah, he's a god.

  • Only thing I don't like about this movie is the bad rap Hades gets. The music, though, is great! I love the spiritual style :)

  • i love mythology and i LOVE this movie!!

  • parah kangen gila cuy sama nih film!

  • Adore the film, too bad its not what actually happened in the Myth xD

  • the previous classic disney films always strayed away from the myths they were based on.

but for the greater good in every case.

I mean the actual myth of "the little mermaid" is quite sad, and I personally prefer the disney version a lot more.

same goes for the lion king wich is loosely based on shakespeare's "hamlet"

or in mulan (in real life the chinese lost that war)

they stray from the myth, or the history they base their films, but in a good way.

  • @Shakduhn what happens in the real little mermaid?? :O

  • @RaNdOMSmIL3s on the actual real myth of the little mermaid, Ariel never marries the man she fell in love with, instead she dies, alone and sad, never truly fitting in her world due to her lack of voice, and at the same time never fitting the human world due to missing her chance to kiss her loved one.

she ends up letting him go because he's trully happier with vanessa than her.

that ending sucks in so many ways it's not even fun.

  • @Shakduhn Oh my goodness that DOES suck! I didn't even know the little mermaid was a myth.

  • @Shakduhn I told my friend about the real little mermaid story and I swear she was nearly in tears because of how it ends. Can you imagine if Disney killed Ariel at the end?Or if she tried to kill Eric? I don't think people would like it so much. Personally I prefer the Disney endings to the Grimm endings

  • @Shakduhn I totally agree. Not to mention Beauty & the Beast, to give Belle more character, she took her father's place as the Beast's prisonor by her own will. The original story, she was offered by her father. And Disney changed the story of Aladdin- but in a good way- by making the Genie energetic but wish for freedom, so also giving Aladdin another layer to his character by showing sympathy for Genie.

And how the story of Pocahontas was romanticized.

PatF added a lot more depth, too.

  • @Shakduhn hey didn't ariel die (cause i read another version and she dies :(

  • @sarasexygirl she does on the original version, but Disney's version changed the ending and gave it a "happy ever after" touch, wich personally I loved more.

the world has enough sadness on it so that even our fiction works have to be equally depressive. A little happiness never hurts anyone.

  • @Shakduhn ya i get what you mean everytime i wactch this my brother goes that not the real story and i know that i personally like this version better

  • @Shakduhn The ironic thing is that in Greek Mythology, Hera (Herc's Mother) ended up being his nemesis(?) and Hades and Herc never really had any dealings with one another. When I heard that Hera was a villain, I was like.....

    ....WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?! SHE'S TO BEAUTIFUL TO BE EVIL O_O;

  • @Shakduhn Funny thing, Hercules kills his wife later on in the original story in a fit of rage.

  • @MRresievil310 I know rite? :P this is why he has to do his famous 13 tasks to redeem himself.

  • @Shakduhn hahah yeah especially because in greek mythology, zeus was a man whore and hera was a massive bitch.

  • @jblvr93 they were all manwhores and massive bitches... aprodite, hera, athena etc.

athen turned medusa into a monster cause poseidon raped her in athenas temple. even though medusa ran to athena for sanctuary and protection. now if that isnt the biggest bitch move in ancient mythology then i dont know what is.

  • @blowmomomomo Medusa got screwed over by Athena horridly - she was the one who equipped Perseus to go kill her, and then he gave Athena Medusa's head when he was done with it - but everyone else she messed up got it made up for in some way. She was one of the better members of the pantheon, not that that's saying much.

(Also, half the time with Medusa and Poseidon it was consensual. And Poseidon was too powerful for Athena to get back at, or she probably would have done).

  • @RailwayFalcon although what you said is true im pretty sure it was Aphrodite that messed medusa up not Athena

  • @Alandalus105 It was Athena. Medusa and Poseidon were getting it on in her temple, and since a) Athena was a virgin goddess and b) she and Poseidon didn't exactly get on all that well, she got pissed.

  • @RailwayFalcon i looked it up you were right although i did find another story that exclude poseidon entirely, although the one who messed her up was till athena

  • @Shakduhn Don't forget how the original work for the Hunchback of Notredame ended. Sucked to be Quasimodo.

  • i' m from greece and iknow everything about heracles and this song is awesome...

  • I used to listen this song every morning when I went to school with my bike. Yeah, love it <3

  • Their voices are awesome. (:

  • holy shit on my moms face i fucking love this movie ..lol

  • lol

  • was the disney version ment to be based on the roman hercules or the greek heracles

  • He has very little relation to either

As for your answer... listen to the damn lyrics

  • Heracles lol the movie was obviously set in Greece.

  • roman i believe

    because it showed roman cities

  • nevermind greek sorry.

  • Though, actually, the name "Hercules" was the Roman version. O.o

    The Greek version was "Heracles"
