If this was referred to the 3rd umpire it would have been given not out still as not more than half the ball was hitting the stump. The original decision would have stood you half witted wankers.
He is over 2 meters from the stumps, and it's hit him above the knee roll, and sliding down leg. Are you a fucking idiot? No way thats out, doesn't matter what pitch.
lol, just hitting the top of the stumps. hardly a terrible decision. maybe if the bangladeshi board had spent money on the UDRS the decision would have been overturned.
I have no idea what you are moaning about here... much worse decisions are given out/not out regularly outside of the UDRS. If this one went to review it wouldn't have been give out and given the fact that the benefit of the doubt goes to the batsmen this was the right decision judging by the replays. What it comes down to is this is just you moaning about a decision that didn't go the way of your country.
this is nothing I remember once Afridi appealed thrice when bowling against Yuvi but umpire turn down all three ... haweye suggest dismissal possibilities in all cases
These videos shd be renamed to Bad umpiring decisions vs Bangladesh. Grow up guys, everyone gets bad decisions. Umpires are not perfect. Other than another Bucknor incident, let's support UDRS so that a correct and final decision can be reached more frequently.
Poor umpiring. ICC is blind. They should review the performance of those umpire after every series.I will blame Bangladesh cricket board for not taking any action or make a official complain against those Umpires. Some people are making themselves fool by supporting this decision.Thats why i wont argue with those idiot who can lower me to their level and will beat me by their experience.
Oh fuck off, that was above the roll, he was coming forward and in my opinion, when someone is bowling at 140km/hr, no human being will get that kind of decision correct all the time. Fair decision in the circumstances and you should be ashamed of yourself that you have spent time agonising about this decision.
how can you complain about that decision? it was shown to be only just clipping the top of the stumps on hawk-eye, and believe it or not the umpire doesnt have the benefit of looking at a replay, he has to make the call in a second.
If the UDRS was there its not out, because the ball hitting only just.... If the 21st century technology cant confirm, how can umpires wit real time wit no replays can do!!!
Case in point: Day 1 of the return series, Alistair Cook gets a poor lbw decision go against him - I wonder where the howls of disapproving Bangladeshi fans are?
And day 1 also helps reiterate my point about Bangladesh's subpar bowling attack.
What about Trott being given out off the helmet? Were you having a whinge about that, or is it only when decisions go against Bagladesh do you consider the umpiring to be substandard?
trott had already scored 39 and it was very close and difficult for the umpire to judge. This one wasn't. Nobody whined about Trott's because it was part of cricket to give marginal decisions like that. While it is extremely rare in top level cricket to deny clear LBWs to the same bowler 3 times in an innings, that too in a pitch that is not working any bounce. Beside all these, Bangladeshi captain was judged LBW when the impact, pitch and direction of the ball were all outside off stump.
@mymentor Even the English commentators are saying this is wrong. They did not say that in Trott's case as it was really difficult to give decisions in Trott's case. Atherton, an Englishman said this series was like Cambridge University vs a country cricket club match where the umpires would repeatedly give decisions against Cambridge as it was the inferior team. All the English commentators said Bangladesh was the victim of the poor umpiring. And I guess these English critics know some cricket.
So what? England bore the brunt of the majority of poor decisions against South Africa in their previous series.
The bottom line is whether or not we want to see the right decisions made or not. I've said for many years now that technology must be used for international matches, because umpires simply make too many mistakes. And Bangladesh is far from the only side affected.
Presumably you wouldn't mind if poor decisions were given in Bangladesh's favour, but I might be wrong.
@XPil3s No, I mentioned one that England had go against them. There were more - and it's still beside the point. The point is whether people want to see poor decisions overruled for the good of the game, or for the benefit of the side they support. If you're in the latter camp, you're a moron.
And kindly point out which Indian or Pakistani players the English side is 'full of'. An all-English 3rd XI would still be too strong for Bangladesh, who remain an awful cricket side.
@mymentor LOL there were 3 bad calls that went against Eng in the whole tour. Bdesh had 6 just in the 2nd Test, 3 in 1st, 4 during ODIs. So shut your trap hole and admit it, you got lucky. if it were for umpires, you wouldnt have won.
@mymentor Bopara, Owis Shah, Ajmal, Rashid, Sajid Mahmood! Those dont sound very English names to me? Lets not even get to South African players. You want me to go on? I dont follow English players, i dont know there names, those are just off top of my head, i bet there are more.
LOL 3rd XI my ass, go find a main XI, with regular English players 1st, before borrowing players from other countries

We should be speaking up against all types of bad umpiring. Not just when it happens against our country.

The benefit of doubt goes to the batsman, so a good decision by the umpire after seeing the review.

You should have seen this guy during the Pak vs NZ test series.

Him and his partner were poor and through the ODI series well.
