For the most part, i do enjoy his music, but i have to say, as a professional musician, that he should have done the song in its' original style..................a four-beat medium-tempo. I used to do this at Karaoke in Ct............i think it's just more sensual ( you'd have to ask the ladies about that )..as we danced while i sang to them with a remote mike.........just a lot of fun( yes i am a keyboardist with 40 years experience ) I still enjoy him though

I remember hearing this song on the radio back in the early 1990's. I love the lyrics to it, it's very romantic. I never knew who wrote it, I like the lyrics, "Because of you and me there'll be this moment in time." WOW!!

This is actually my favorite of his classic works. On October 9 I saw him in Windsor Ontario and he called me up to the stage to sing a song to me, etc. If anyone has video or a photo from this, I'd love to have it. He is so much fun to be near. And he sings well, too.

The origin is that this song is written by Ritchie Adams and Alan Bernstein for Engelbert. It's not from a musical and nobody else did a rendition. Hope this helps!
