Luigi's skin is droopy, but the muscles in his skin probably over relaxed. So technically, he's tired and disapointed that he's so low on health and can't retrieve his brother.

Not to rip on the final version of this game, but the beta seemed to be a bit better. I love the creepy factor the game had. The mansion is darker, Luigi looks more freaked out, the ghosts seem to be a little creepier, and dat ending... Although I am glad they removed some things, like the vacuum over heating.

Luigi does not DIE from running out of time, but you do get a game over. Luigi instead does nothing but sit where the mansion was, holding a flower. Also, about dying from lack of sleep, even in the final version E. Gadd says that “ Your troubles only lasted 1 night !” so I am sure with the adrenaline and fear pumping into Luigi, he would stay awake until he found Mario.

i think the meter where the fire, water, and ice thing is a heat meter, if you used your vacume too much it would explode and you would fall and i think lose money, not sure on that, also some boss ghosts didn't make the final cut, like the safari room, it lost it's boss because it was too scary, he said the he would mount luigi's head on the wall, and i think the death screen was different if you died to a boss ghost, or at least in their rooms. Again, not sure.

About the clock, in beta you had 24 hrs of in-game time to save Mario or else you would lose and have a bad ending, kinda like Majora's and Pikmin.

The meter that looked like the fire/water/ice meter was about that if you vaccumed too much that meter would fill, if it filled all the way the vaccum would overheat and explode and luigi would lose a lot of health.
