I was wondering how to do a few things Trela did during this match:

1) @3:20 Trela doesn't just jump right through the moving floating platform; instead he lands on it. He does it again (briefly) at @3:28

2) @3:31 When Trela continues charging his ball in the air, he charges direction in mid-air the instant the ball appears. He does it again at @6:59.

If someone could tell me how he does those things and the names of the skills (so I can research it), that could be greatly appreciated. :)

@TheBoggnegh the landing directly on the platform move is called platform canceling. merely jump and press c stick down or down a right as you rise above the platform--it takes some practice with timing. the other move (with the aura sphere) is called b reversal. simply press b and then press the opposite direction (while in the air) with your control stick. the timing on this is pretty simple. hope that helps.
