  • Wow , what a great backyard !! A proffessionel at work.

Very nice birds( the red one) over there, we dont have here in Swiss.

    At 7.30 , is this a Beaver ?

Squirrels , we love it very much with mashed potatoes or french fries...

    hahaha...

  • @Tiramisator Thank you! I spend a lot of time in my back yard.

The 'red bird' is a Cardinal, we have many of them in Pennsylvania.

7:30 is a 'Ground Hog' These animals live underground, not in the water like a beaver. We do have a lot of Beavers around here though.

Haha..squirrels are hunted here too. Squirrels and french fries...good munchies!!

    Thanks for the comment...

  • Thanks, Kit, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) You have a python in your yard?? Haha..I think I'll stick to my squirrels ;)

  • This is also one thing i like to do, i have never tried putting peanuts out for squirrels, i am going to try that! Nice shots!

    Hellomidget23-

  • Thanks, hm23!

I've found that the squirrels prefer peanuts that are still in the shell, I think they like to bury them for a later date.

Keep up the great photography on your end!

And keep feeding the animals too :)

  • I've set up my camper and attached a dozen sea shells around the door!

  • Get the cameras rolling!!

  • Absolutely gorgeous, Mung! I loved every minute of this. So beautifully blended and photographed. This is as good as any wildlife video on TV.

  • I'm glad you liked this, Barb..it means a lot :)

Keep up the great work on your end!

  • Your back yard looks like our woods....

One thing, your squirrel's look to have much longer legs than ours.

lol....'Supose everything IS bigger in America.....!

  • I had to cut down 23 trees to make that backyard..this place was a jungle when we moved in :)

My squirrels had to grow long legs so they could outrun Daisy and Tiger ;)

Thanks for the comment, Ray O.O

  • What a great video.

    8:31 What you lookin' at

8:45 Rabbit squirell and a bird in the same picture...no way mung!

Great color and audio-(audio under review by YT investigaters for copyright infringement of bird tweets and plane sounds)

  • Thanks, Ramm!

    8:31 LOL!..OK, I get it Lol :)

8:45 Yep..these animals around here all hang together.. especially when the feeders are full :)

    Geeeez! That's all I need...more copyright problems ;)

    Thanks, Dude!

    64m >:-)

  • Awesome!

  • Thank you, downwharmony!

Glad that you enjoyed the video :)

    64m >:-)

  • was that a Red Cardinal? it looks

    like it,s been spraypainted ;)

  • Lol!! That's the bird's natural color, no spray paint involved ;)

Thanks for the comment, lapislazuline :)

  • No wonder so many neighborhood critters pass through your yard; with that smorgasbord of eats I might be tempted to hop the fence myself. Daisy and Tiger must be in seventh heaven living on that acreage. My neighborhood feels comparatively naked of wildlife; it's too far into the city with too much geometric order. I hope the HQ version shows up soon.

Hope the planes buzzing out of Arnold Palmer Regional wont give you and your furry friends any trouble :)

  • Hello, Michael :)

Yea..we have a wildlife feed store right down the road..my animals only eat the best :)

Daisy and Tiger have a lot of room to roam around..I think they like it here ;)

This video was in HQ, and then it was gone!..I don't know what's going on here.

The planes don't seem to bother the wildlife around here, I think we're all use to it; although, that guy in his stunt plane was blowing a lot of my shots ;(

Thanks for the comment, my friend :)

  • 5 stars

  • Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed the video :)

  • Wow! That's amazing. A lot of great suburban wildlife shots.

I'm just trying to wrap my brain around the amount of patience you would need to film this. Unless your neighbor is Ace Ventura.

  • Thanks, drfloyd!

Lol...Ace was nowhere around for this one ;)

I got all of my yard work done on Saturday so that I could sit in a lawn chair all day Sunday and shoot this video. The video ended up being 18 minutes long, I had to cut a lot of footage out to make it fit on You Tube.

Talk to ya later, I want to get my 8mm film project rolling soon.

    64m >:-)

  • cool

  • Thank You!!

    64m >:-)

  • That is a big backyard you have. I think you did not want to see mine backyard, it is very tiny, little, small with a few birdies. LOL!!!!

I love this video. I like animals, especially when they live in free nature.

Thanks to Laluna for sharing this with me.

    Have a nice day

    xxx

    Jolly

  • Thanks, Jolly!!

I grew up in town next to a steel mill, I had a very small backyard too, I didn't see to much wildlife there. Now that I live a few miles away in the suburbs, wildlife is a part of my everyday life...I love it!!

    Take care!

    64m >:-)

  • Wow...I love your backyard, Sparky! It's like an oasis of tranquility. You have some very fat and happy critters back there! It's lovely. Can I come live there? It will take at least two bowls of strawberries and peanuts a day to sustain me. I'm a high maintenance critter! Seriously lovely video shot extremely well! I'm so relaxed now I can barely finish...........zzzzzzzzzzzz

  • PSSSSST...Hey!!...Wake up!! Of course you can live in my oasis of tranquility..don't worry about the strawberries and peanuts, there's a wildlife feed store right down the street from here, they know me by name! My world is yours, Trixy ;)

    Thanks for the compliments, Bobbie!

    It means a lot!

    Sparky >:-)

  • Looks like a banquet prepared by a gormet chef! Lucky wildlife! Hahaha XD I saw Cardinals (male/female), House Sparrow, Cowbird(?), Robin, and one other bird I don't recognize (with a black head) but it seems like the Squirrels dominate the party - stuffing their faces with everything! Interesting to see Chipmunks and Rabbits around too. Great back yard you have there - lots to enjoy. Great job putting the vid together, too :-)

  • Thanks, JC! I had my chefs hat on under my hood. ;)

I think the bird with the black head is a Northern Oriole....I think..?

Yea..a lot of wildlife makes its way through the backyard..Turkey, Deer, Fox, Raccoons, Ducks, Canadian Geese..it's pretty cool! We had a Black Bear wandering around here a couple of years ago, but the game commission trapped it and hauled it back to the hills.(I can't afford to feed bears) ;)

    Thanks for the compliments!!

    64m >:-)

  • YT's been funky lately - It was totally bogging for me yesterday. Seems better now but still a bit stwitchy.

    BTW, HI MAYA! =D

  • wonderful vid, i love the squirrels, cheeky haha

and beatiful birds, you have an awesome 'backyard'!

    ★★★★★&favd!

oh and i am sure the wildlife loves the backyard owner, you are great!

  • Hi, Coconut, thanks for the rate and fave! Yea, I love these little critters too, they're a lot of fun to feed and watch. I've been feeding these guys for 9 years now, and when I'm working in the yard, I can get within a few feet of them and they don't even flinch...I think they like me ;)

Hope all is well in the land of bells ;)

Tell Jackass I said hello :)

    64m >:-)

  • Hehe, I laughed when you put the water bottle in the tins... there must be some really clever squirrels living over there. =P Nice relaxing video. =)

  • Thanks, Budgie!

Lol..yea, the water was actually for the toad house (deleted scene)..the toad gets a seashell full of water, and I get the rest ;)

If you think the squirrels are clever...you should see the raccoon..he's amazing!! Grrrrrr...I need a night vision camera

I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)

Keep up the great work on your end!
