It's kind of funny that he is teaching that JESUS was praying it, he was not praying it he was telling his disciples how to pray, for Jesus could not be tempted to sin, so it would be silly to ask to free himself from temptation. 'God' is only a title, not a name, so it would make sense for him to go by his name. If asked who you are, would you reply "Human"?

Another thing we must realize is that God didn't come on this Earth for himself he came for us. Also I've never heard a "Christian" preacher try to convince a congregation that well God is God that Jesus was the Son of God because we have security in our faith and firmness in our faith as Christians and in Jesus that he is the Way the Truth and the Light that no one goes to the Father except through Him. Now if he is preaching trying to justify himself he is obviously insecure.
There is a major thing here you need to realize, he is teaching the disciples how to pray not teach himself how to pray. Think about how you would teach a child to pray. You would teach them the words to pray in first person. Jesus was doing the same. Just as he taught the Disciples in parables like children, so he taught them to pray like children. Think about when the Disciples asked what is the greatest commandment, Jesus said love the Lord YOUR God with all your heart, not our God.

There are thousands of quotes of Jesus in the Bible where He says God is "my Father" - in Matthew Mark Luke and John. When Jesus taught them to pray, they were repeating after Him - it's the disciples' prayer. He had not died and ascended to heaven yet - so He was still man. If u compare this verse with John 10:37-38 the same way Jesus (pbuh) said "i am in thee" that mean 12 disciples. Do u mean they are also God? then it would be 14 God.

"I and the Father are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" In that passage he says he and the father are one meaning he is God why else would they have taken the stones to kill him?

It's kind of funny that he is teaching that JESUS was praying it, he was not praying it he was telling his disciples how to pray, for Jesus could not be tempted to sin, so it would be silly to ask to free himself from temptation. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except by me" Jesus said he is I AM, which means GOD. 'God' is only a title, not a name, so it would make sense for him to go by his name. If asked who you are, would you reply "Human"?

Another thing we must realize is that God didn't come on this Earth for himself he came for us. Also I've never heard a "Christian" preacher try to convince a congregation that well God is God that Jesus was the Son of God because we have security in our faith and firmness in our faith as Christians and in Jesus that he is the Way the Truth and the Light that no one goes to the Father except through Him. Now if he is preaching trying to justify himself he is obviously insecure.

There is a major thing here you need to realize, he is teaching the disciples how to pray not teach himself how to pray. Think about how you would teach a child to pray. You would teach them the words to pray in first person. Jesus was doing the same. Just as he taught the Disciples in parables like children, so he taught them to pray like children. Think about when the Disciples asked what is the greatest commandment, Jesus said love the Lord YOUR God with all your heart, not our God.

Its a model prayer for the disciples. "dear brothers and sisters" If the Muslim god has no son, then there are no brothers. True about the Romans and Grks. The scriptures in the old testament up until the new testament set the stage for the lamb of God. The trinity is not to be understood by man, it is beyond our understanding. Christians have always acknowledged 1 God. Never more than 1 God. The Trinity is like water, it is "ice, water, and vapor". Yet, it is still water.
what everyone misses is that Jesus never had to say he was God. Everything he did was showing who he was. Even the demons recognized who he was.

There are thousands of quotes of Jesus in the Bible where He says God is "my Father" - in Matthew Mark Luke and John. When Jesus taught them to pray, they were repeating after Him - it's the disciples' prayer. He had not died and ascended to heaven yet - so He was still man. Yes, Jesus the God/Man defecated, ate, slept. If He had not, His death could not have atoned for our sin. Just because you can't understand it doesn't mean it is not true. Yelling doesn't make it true either.

Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray therefore "Our Father". God became flesh (Jesus) and dwelt among us, he depended on the Father entity for direction and the spirit for power while he was human. He rose after 3 days, the perfect sacrifice. He did this because he loves you.

Islam believes that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God and there are several prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Noah, Jesus, Muhammad etc. Every prophet on His time, he is the way to the God, he is the truth from God and he is preaching the how the life should be lived. In short he is the way, the truth and the life. Only we believe in the prophet then we will be able to recognize the God. In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11, 14:33, 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. Jesus said He was God on several occasions. He never said "Worship me", but many people did bow down and worship Jesus, and Jesus fully accepted their worship. What's interesting is that Jesus demanded that you only worship God. By accepting worship, He was showing people that He was God.

It says in John17:21"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us,..." here 'thee' refers to 12 disciples. If u compare this verse with John 10:37-38 the same way Jesus (pbuh) said "i am in thee" that mean 12 disciples. Do u mean they are also God? then it would be 14 God.

Yes textual criticism is relatively easy, and that is what Christians also doing. For example where does the Bible say God is Trine? Rather Bible clearly say that God is One (Mark 12:29). But Christians go out of there way to prove Trine God which is something against their own bible.
I think this speaker is speaking in context, that is Jesus was a Prophet who preach others to worship the one God in heaven and Jesus himself prayed to God in heaven.

Thing I don't understand why do you quote bible, and then, rejecting what bible itself telling about specific quote, you put yours own theological / physical / logical explanation, and then you expect anybody to believe to what you said. Same way you are doing what you believe that Mathew,Luke,Mark,John... done > putting you own ideas as word of God. Etc. "changing" the meaning of bible.
Is there any reason for me to believe you more than to believe original Jesus followers? I don't see any.

The bible says that Jesus will reign for 1000 years, after which time, the FATHER will reign FOREVER!

I do not have to say that I am NOT God and do NOT worship me because I am not God anyway. Evryone knows that. But for me to claim God, I have to say it clearly , explicitly. Like Old testament, deut 6:4, in Isaiah - God is very explicit to say - I am Gid and there is NONE else. God does not beat around the bush wen it comes to this type of thing as you christians are doin to make Jesus God.

What type of doing? I don't make Jesus Son of God (so by nature of that He IS God) I just believe it. There is nothing to "make". I can't make anything about that, I just believe Him, and what He is, was and will be - Truth Way and Light to for all humanity, believed / liked / wanted we so or not. He is that! He can't be different. And why do I believe Him? Because He loves me first. 1.Jn 4, 10

Also jesus didn't have a divine knowledge of a God to answer to his apostols when they asked when the days will be,he responded not me or the Angels know that but the father,so clearly jesus had no divine knowledge because God knows all things from all times so he clearly was not god or he would of answered that question!!

you who comment about this aren't aware of the 'kenosis' issue. He *emptied himself* and became man so obviously while standing on earth he placed himself under God as to do so he would have to. THEN when he fulfilled his work, salvation of the world he was exalted on high and all power, dominion and authority was given him.

Dear Christians: The Word is not for everyone. Don't enter disputes with those who have not received the saving Grace of God.
God chooses who will understand and be saved, and who will just be hardened by the Word. Eventually He gives people into their sins. There will be no mercy. Read Romans 9; it clearly states some were created to be destroyed.
