  • someone should write a humoresque about a dog :)

  • skvele, proste dokonaly!! kdyz sem byl mensi tata mi to poustel na 16mm paskach, tehdy sem jeste netusil jak muze bejt klasika genialni..

  • The music gets sort of sad at 1:30 and even more sad when the pretty girl shows up at 1:52, then fades away like a flower, into the mists of time. Very well done, and profound. It's like a story is being told of their lives.

  • Awesome photos and music. Who is the pretty face at 1:53 ? :)

  • This is awesome! Great video.

  • Excellent performance!

  • when I played violin my teacher gave me this piece to play but always tried to make me do it so staccato and jumpy that it totally missed the beauty and sadness in the piece. When I first heard it like this I was shocked it could sound so nice! :)

  • Great video. Very touching.

  • To me, this sounds like Christmas :) I am from Slovakia and this master piece has been used in advert for baking margarine for years over the Christmas period here and since then every time I hear it I can smell mum's Christmas cakes :)

  • Humoresque is such a relaxing melody, warm and nostalgic and fits the images nicely.

  • I dont even know these peole, but Ioved watching this. Thank you!

  • In the evening after dark,

we'll goose the statues in the park,

if Sherman's horse can take it,so can you,la la,

Passengers will please refrain from flushing toilets while the train,

    is in the station,

    DarlingI love you.

  • @RasMajnouni i love this melody are these the lyrics? are they for the whole song?

  • @sara4844 I don't know who made up these lyrics-some comedian. My Father would sing it with us on car trips!

  • One of my all-time favorite classical songs--so beautiful!

  • LOL to the intro Phrase!!

  • I have always loved this movement,! It remindgred me of someone remimiscing through old photographs and missing loved ones. This is so neat!

  • This song kinda makes you nostalgic for an earlier period of time doesn't it?

  • nice

  • where did your grandma lived?? where were these pictures taken??

    this is inspiring, thks!!

  • Excellent!!

It made think about life futility ¬ ¬

  • Hey great pics, and great pick. I couldn't think of a better music to go along with these pictures.

  • Yes indeed, that was a wonderful looking girl.

    Thank you for the posting.

  • thanks for the video. beautiful photos, so very well done.

  • My son was going to play this piece at Kiwanis years back , and he had Carol , who is a very accomplished pianist, to coach him. And Carol's African Gray, Alex, started singing the humouresque, within hours. Very happy memories!

  • Wonderful pictures.

I oughta do something like this for my grandma and grandpa's photo album. So many people in there that I would've loved to have met.

  • poor quality but well played : [

    Juan

  • You are correct. That was from my grandmother's snapshot album. The last pages are the boys going off to war. There are no pictures after that, and quite a few were torn out.

    It's kind of spooky.

  • Your happier times fall right into the first world war. It is appropriate to say, I think, that there is a happy place involved, too...
