Love your video, it is also clear what to do. I am in the middle organising my UMS after removing the stamps of the block.
I have a question, What next?? What do I use on the back of the UMS to make them stick to the paper and arcrylic blocks. I have seen different comments about Aieen,s tack-it over and over. What can I believe?
Jennifer, What an excellent tutorial, I am in the midst of re-organising my studio, the first thing I want to do is to turn my mounted stamps into unmounted and of course I need to store these in the way you teach, but as I live in Bali (third word country) I cannot buy the sleaves here.
What do I ask for and where is the shop online which sell these? Thanks, Jogry/bali
i just love your stamp storage - and i stole your idea of the cd/dvd sleeves. however, i've heard these types of stamps don't like light. will the little bit that gets to them through an 'open' binder (meaning non-zip or sleeved) with a skylight above hurt them? i prefer this type of binder but i have two zippered ones for this and also to keep dog fur out :p thoughts?
I love this!! I keep my $1 stamps in cd cases by theme but just have a chaotic box of the good stamps because I just can't seem to break them up, you saved me tons of money and tears too :)
Im in australia and we dont have the same stores as you have over there. I like the the sleeves for the CD/DVDs that you have your stamps in but I am unable to find them. if you could please let me know the name of the product so I can order them. It is a great idea. Thank you for posting this video
Thanks for the video - great ideas! I made the mistake of cutting my acrylic stamp sets apart so I could group like-themed stamps together...Flowers, leaves, flourishes, etc. Big mistake! As the phrase says: United we stand, divided we fall. The stamp surfaces on tiny word stamps stick just fine when still in a sheet, but they don't adhere by themselves. *Face palm* Hours I spent on those! I may do a video showing what I ended up doing with those little pieces parts that won't stick.
You have inspired me to do this!!! So little by little I am converting my stamps to this storage system. Just wish I had paid more attention to putting white cardstock behind the stamps...lol
have you thought about restamping your plastic sheets with stayson ink, then you would have the black outline and you could use your white card stock with that like the other ones
I've been fumbling with how to store my clear stamps. I have a ton and invested in the Inkadinkado clear stamp storage box/folder, but it only holds so much and the inserts are pricey! I am definitely going to try this out!! Thanks for sharing!
Kay; i store my stamps similar to yours for the ones that don't have original sheets I use the black Stazon ink on a transparency and flip it over to make new sheets for them with the images.
I'm so glad I found this! I've just started collecting some clear stamps and have been wondering the best method of storage! This would work for me! Thanks so much for sharing!
yay ive just organised my stamps this way!!! sooooo much easier to look thru them

How do you clean your clear stamps? Do you always have to use black ink, or could you use colored ink?
