  • I don't understand why you "Christians" out there keep hating on the dude. If that's the way God wants use LeCrae as his instrument, then so be it. don't be taking your word for what is possibly Gods Word. If it's in Gods plan then maybe some artist from the world can be saved, through LeCrae. That was pretty brave of LeCrae. So many people call themselves "Christians" yet, what are we doing for the Kingdom of God?

  • @lascochinas101 amen dog. how can you do the work of the Lord when you to busy hatin on His other children. God has a plan fa everybody and you cant fulfill yours if your tryna discourage somebody elses

  • 0:46 They spelled his name wrong..

  • What was the version of the song at the start?

  • I give you REAL MUSIC! Please take a few minutes to check out my music and let me know if you like it. You won't be disappointed.

  • Whooo, DJ Premier telling you that got some bars is nice

    Well done lecrae

  • Azusa Street Revival

  • Also, what makes you think that you HHH supporters are better than any other Christian? What makes your way of "evanglizing the world" more praise worthy than someone whom you never hear about, but is doing the good work? The mistake that is often made is that many of you believe that the Gospel has to "appeal" to people? While the Gospel does have to appeal to people it is their conscience not their flesh that the Gospel appeals to? If you appeal to the flesh you have to keep by it.

  • BTW: Why do so many of you believe that this is 'necessary'? Why does the Gospel need the help of the worlds entertainment devices? I know that the 'theology' of HHH is that -- all things were created by God and we are just taking it back from the devil and are "baptizing" the industry, doing to it what the Holy Spirit did for us. This has no basis in scripture. HHH, falls within the long line of "methodology" evangelism. Here is the true method: Preach and get of God's way!

  • @Scandalousfaith If it wasn't for the GOSPEL then this world wouldn't be here!!!

  • The very troublesome trend that I see with the defenders of HHH is there seems to be an "assualt" on anyone who disagree with you. Calling people "haters" and comparing the questioning of this form of "ministry" to how Christ was persecuted is a little extreme. The assumption is that this form is "ministry" is reaching the lost. How do you truly know that? It seems to many that we have lot of "promoters" of a movement and not discerners. This is what turns so many away.

  • Yes God is differently using Lecrae too change the hip hop world

  • lecrae can save the hip hop world

  • 0.47, they spelled his name wrong...lol

  • What LeCrae did highly represented Christ. So people talking crazy need to be quiet. God take situation like Lecrae and use it it for his glory.

  • Lecrae ma man proud that your repping jesus.....Repersent...

  • @ppdrawings I totally agree.

Keep standing, 'Crae, you've got believers praying for you. Go 116!

  • I hope Lecrae stays strong in the Lord. Anytime a child of God goes to do good evil is always present and I already know that they are going to try to make him compromise his faith for fame and fortune. Forget the money, houses, cars, and fame Lecrae, stay with God without taking down. So many of us have fallen for that same trick, Stay strong!!! Stay Strong!!! Stay!! Strong!!

  • @ppdrawings Thats true! I heard Lecrae will be at Grammy award or something, it will be awesome! Represent Jesus!

  • It never surprise me that anytime you YouTube anything Christian, the spoken word or music, it has the most feed back because Christians are the most judgmental. I get so sick of this. Instead of arguing how everyone else is walk with the Lord is pray that light is shed and correction comes. You don't know if that person was lead by God or self to do the things they do. Often times in the Bible, God told people to do the strangest thing. Long story short, I am glad I know God for myself becaus

  • Thank You Jesus !!!!!!!!!

  • I SEE u LECRAE DO UR THANG!!!!!!!!

  • aww snap lecrae held it down cuz hes awsome

  • @NavaGator29 Woooo I am so glad that you cleared everything up for me! Thank you! And while you're doing a good job of playing God by judging Lecrae's heart, can you also judge what's in mine and tell me what I need to fix by the few words I have written. O yea n since u had to be at the interview, what did the interviewer ask? Just need the whole picture. Thanks in advance!

  • People need to leave Lecrae alone. He did nothing wrong, you are to be happy that he went on the cypher representing Christ. I'm tired of all these holier than thou people putting Gods people down; like I said before you know you doing something right for God when people, especially so called christians put you down. Keep shining your light Lecrae.

  • @dsmith8676 are u a ghanaian?

  • @dsmith8676 ***Keep shining God's light Lecrae.

    okay now its perfect lol

  • Lotta Pharisees in here, whew!

  • I don't get why people say that Christian rap is not of God, its just a form of music! All the other Christian songs could be compared to having the same flow as R&B songs, the whole point is to praise God fully from your heart! No one can judge rather or not you are truly praising God! So instead of being judgmental pray that Lecrae is praising God with his whole heart, and more importantly make sure that you are! Judge not yet ye be judge! God Bless!!

  • @star57ish I'ma put it to you like this. Everything on this earth was created by God for us to glorify Him with and some people have just used it for evil. Remember the devil can't create anything, he can only pervert it. I know Lecrae is legit and is straight for Christ. Don't let these people discourage you. God bless.

  • @NavaGator29 That was a ridiculous comment. And should be ignored...

  • Some of y'all need to check Crae's interview. FULLY with this dude It's Christian Rapper Lecrae talks Tyler the Creator. Check the middle part of the interview, well just watch it all the way through. Crae is a straight jokester and is humble.

  • @navagator29 you said that he dont rep christianity why do you think they know him as "That Christian Boy" Jay Z wanted to sign Lecrae to a recored deal but Lecrae turned it down and said "he dont want man to make him rich he wants his riches to be in heaven. You think kayne would do that?

  • @supermark2156 That thing about Jay-Z wanting to sign Lecrae was just a rumor. An article was done by a hip hop magazine about conscious rappers that Jay could possibly sign, and Lecrae was on that list of possible, but no offer was ever made. Search for "Lecrae responds to signing with JayZ rumours..." He talks about in there.

  • unashamed...

  • you will know them by their fruit and lets get one thing right right now he bears great fruit period

  • @TDEIBOLD Amazing. Darkness and light cannot be together. Of course Scripture tells us Jesus ate with sinners but He did not conform to their lifestyles. Job 14:4, "Who among you can bring what is pure from what is umpire? There is not one!" And how dare we say if Christ would respond any differently. Would He be performing among God haters? Let us pray for discernment.

  • Who are we to judge him? We're the body of Christ! 1 Corinthians 5:12-13. Judge and expelled the wicked man from among you. He's absolutely secular.. he looks just like world too. He's not above rebuke or correction.. as we are not either.

  • Who are we to judge him? We're the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13. Judge those in the Church, not those outside. He's very secular. Needs correction and rebuke like the rest of us. On BET, pfffft. Where are the radical Christians at?

  • I feel that it was good for him to rep God but after some thought i feel like he should have not flowed on that beat. I know Jesus sat with the sinners but he did not do what they were doing. It's touchy it really is....who are we to judge him or anyone? I kind of agree with 1love1lord as far as him boasting but i still got love for the brother his music is really good!

  • He wasn't rebuking nobody only glorifying in a place with filthy mouth bad habit souls and he all happy, seems he was more concern with himself than Jesus. You don't give something Holy to the unholy! He got Jesus in his mouth but not his heart.

  • Thats right crae represent who you stand for!!!!

  • Wohoo :D go crae!

  • Lol religious people will see this and think blasphemy, but we're called to go IN not separate ourselves from the world physically, only mentally and spiritually!! Look you're church TV DID NOT REACH ME when I wasn't saved...heck I bet people still think Lecrae should have gone in with a prayer mantle and started speaking in tongues's, doubt he'd have got the opportunity to do this is as @nashtherapper said if he didn't perfect his gift and represent! New Wine is coming!

  • Keep on serving Christ Lecrae!

  • i am fine with lecrae being on statik selektahs cd. I think its a great opportunity for him to shine the light in the darkness. But it really bothers me that in this video he says that statik selektah is "doing some amazing" work, implying that he approves of his music and is actually encouraging people to listen to it when all of statik selektahs songs are completely against the bible.

  • @njw2137 the thing is even if we dont agree with them, they still have tallent that God gave them and the Bible says give credit where its due.

  • @PrincessAmandaTV I disagree. Just because they are good at what they do does not mean we should encourage people to listen to it. Satan is really good at decieving people, but the bible does not say to give him credit for that by listening to him.

  • @njw2137 I get what you are syaing but I dont think he was encouraging us to listen to it. He was just saying they have tallent.

  • @PrincessAmandaTV your probably right. I had just looked up statik selektah cause i had never heard of him and he was cussing and saying mf and stuff...then i came over to this video right after and heard lecrae say he is doing some amazing work....so it just rubbed me the wrong way.

  • Did you know that trip lee was asked to be taught be some of the most well know theologists out there to take that next step toward preaching? No you probably didn't.... If you are offenses because these guys rap the word.... Maybe you should look up the definition of.a pharasy.... And let the brothers do what the have been called to do...

  • Sorry suhs and ladies, but anyone that says that Crae or any of the 116 is doing satans work has been decieved... I contantly see the whole satan using them to decieve and this type of music is worldly.... You know I'm gonna put it out there... Yall are just crabs in a bucket tryin to tear Gods work down.... Did you know that anyone that comes out.of their label has to disiple first and have an understanding of the word? Probably didn't did you.

  • Proud of Lecrae repping Jesus! Some of y'all sound like the religious folks that bashed Jesus for hanging with the sinners. Don't care how u want to put it, God used Lecrae to plant seeds.

  • Jesus cured and ministered to sinners. This guy is in awe that DJ Premiere liked his raps. He didn't do this for christ.. He did it for himself. He didn't say wow these guys liked my scriptures. He talked about them thinking he was a good rapper. That whole versus was 90% about him rapping at the cipher and about 5% worldly and about 5% Jesus for effect. I am not proud of this at all. Kanye West did a better job repping christianity with the blasphemous "Jesus Walks"!

  • @NavaGator29 he talks about the rappers cause he knew them and listened to them when he was not a Christian. Lecrae's message was totally about God. When he rapped he was representing Christ. Lecrae is not perfect but please stop judging him. Only God knows his heart and if he did it just so people could praise him I'm sure the holy spirit will convict him if he hasn't already. Maybe you should get off your ass and start preaching instead of wasting your time judging others. You are not God .

  • @ashlleey986 I agree with you girl. Jesus is coming back to establish his kingdom on this earth the kingdom of heaven has been already established. I tell you some folks still don't get it.

  • @ashlleey986 God bless you man thos are some tru words

  • Lets get known believers, perfect our crafts and represent...

  • Gone DANIEL WITH YO GOOD SELF

  • ??? Real recognizes real. Are you all paying attention to what is happening. The dark is trying to mingle with the light. The whole point of Lecrae being on BET (Baal Entertainment Television) was not to win souls, but to pull validation. Listen to the man in this interview. He is practically validating the secular artists that he was surrounded by...he dropping names like Statik Selektah and said he is "doing some incredible work." Come on, saints, GOd is not pleased with this mess.

  • @TDEIBOLD In 1 John it says that God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. Lecrae isn't having fellowship with darkness here, he's following a call in Philippians 2 that says to shine like stars in the universe. He's just going where God has given him opportunities. Last time I checked stars shine a lot brighter when surrounded by pitch black darkness compared to when trying to shine in a room that's filled with light, that's why we see stars in the night. Crae's just shining man.

  • @TDEIBOLD Please explain this to me. Is this like Shirley Ceasar performing in the Patti LaBelle Tribute during the BET awards?

  • @kplife2001 That is definitely the same ball park. Yes we are to go into the world and be a witness, but we are not to be of the world. We are clled to be holy (1 Pet 1:15). To be sanctified means to be set apart. For whatever reason, Christians aer forgetting this. The true meaning of ministry is lost. The Bible says to be not unequally yoked (2 Cor 6:14). That means in our business dealings, friendships, marriages, and yes, performances. Satan is good at what he does. Deceiving and confusing.

  • @TDEIBOLD And that is why your twisted mindstate and mis use of scripture you will not win souls to the glory of God. Humble yourself and think. Was anything that Lecrae said unholy? Would Jesus say anything different or apart from what he said? So don't go slinging around scripture like you know what you're talking about in order to make yourself feel safe, thats like bringing a gun to a pillow fight. So what then is the true meaning of ministry? I'd love to hear the RULES you made up.

  • @Diachi26 Jesus wouldn't "big up" or give praise to, or name drop for validation the very people who rebel against holiness. I don't say these things to make myself feel "safe" because I am saved through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I say what I say because it is the truth. Darkness and light cannot walk together. That is not a rule that I made up, that is God's way and order.

  • @Diachi26 Since you asked, Ephesians 4:12-13 tells us the purpose of the five-fold ministry, which is "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Deviating form this results in an outpouring of carnal "Christians" as opposed to maturing Christians. Your feelings cannot change this fact.

  • @TDEIBOLD So yo call little Christians "carnal"? Anyway you are using the scripture out of context and is irrelevant. Lecrae's fruit speaks for himself so you can't say Lecrae isn't winning souls so I won't even get into that it's obvious. Since when does dropping a name rebel against the holiness of Jesus and makes your salvation questionable? So if Jesus said a person's name who is a non believer and says he is my friend thats somehow evil? Let me further explain... cont.

  • @TDEIBOLD Before you throw an irrelevant verse I suggest you read 1 Cor 9:19-23 over again and lets further look at what the bible says about this. 1. Joseph. This was a man being used by God. When you look at the story Joseph works for Pharaoh. These dudes are pagans. They did not even serve the God of Joseph. But God blessed Joseph's work in turn the Pharaoh was successful. Joseph was the reason they sustained and it was God who placed Joseph in that place. cont.

  • @TDEIBOLD In the mist of that Joseph stood firm for The One & True God. So in that story we have a man of God who works for a pagan and that man is pretty much single handedly responsible for them surviving but what that man (joseph) new came directly with God. If a christian did this today people like you would say that's not of God. 2. Nehemiah. We know he had to rebuild the walls. Where did what was needed to build the walls come from. A pagan king. cont.

  • @TDEIBOLD When God told Nehemiah this even Nehemiah thought God was tripping, but no, God knew what he was doing. It is the through the work of this pagan king that the walls are rebuilt and God glorified. My point of these stories is that God using believers on ungodly platforms is not new at all. God has been doing this. It was clearly something different from Lecrae and every other artist. Nobody who watched would deny that. cont.

  • @TDEIBOLD The first thing people will point out that watched will not just be his skills but his content and the fact he rapped for Jesus. Its not just about Lecrae being on a secular platform, but its about our God being made much of on that platform. A person who works at mcdonalds does not say, "Man these people are foul I can't work here Im out!" As christian we stand firm in those environments and rep Jesus to the max even when everybody else is against our God. cont.

  • @TDEIBOLD While we work along side those who don't know him as the Lord leads. Thats what Joseph did and even his doing caused the unbeliever to prosper but it would by God leading. The same with Nehemiah though in that case God was using the unbeliever to make sure that his work was done. So my fellow brother in Christ. Don't down other Christians because their mission is different then yours. When they start to fall from the Church THEN you should be concerned.

  • @Diachi26 Great points...but those men were slaves. They didn't apply for those positions. They didn't fight for those positions. They also didn't seek the validation of the pagans that they had to work with. Where as I can respect the fact that you have taken deep thought regarding the stories of the Old Testament, I encourage you to look at Cain...how did God receive his sacrifice? Obedience is better. He didn't just name drop, he praised the works of darkness. Pay attention to the facts.

  • @TDEIBOLD i remember reading about a man in the bible who ate with the "unholy" , corrected the "religious men of God" or i think back then they called them pharisees, i believe reading once he turned water into wine and he was best friends with a protistute, a womanizer, and a tax collector....what was that guys name again...can't remember it for the life of me.....oh yeah i got it, his name was JESUS yeah that guy

  • @bosstanaka88 Jesus, after healing the sick (physically and spiritually) would tell the individual to go and sin no more. I garauntee that they weren't praticing idolatry and sin in His presence. It is not healthy to twist the scriptures in order to satisfy your fleshly desires. Grab a Bible and watch the response video I made to this posting. You are entitled to believe what you want, but the scriptures are clear when studied in Spirit and truth. God bless you.

  • @TDEIBOLD yeah you kind of missed the whole point of my last comment...which is a problem for you, see you have a religious demon lingering around that needs rebuking. stop acting holier than thou, because guess what (if you even read the word) it says we all fall short in the glory of God, now what does that mean...it means that none of us are perfect we are nothing like Jesus. and even the most perfect man on earth (Jesus) went amongst the unholy just to preach the gospel....

  • @bosstanaka88 pointing out other peoples faults in their walk with Christ is not going to bring you closer to him or make you more right than other people. You should probably humble yourself go in your closet and clothe yourself with humility...and yes God bless

  • @TDEIBOLD What about when Jesus went to hang with the sinners? He came and saved the tax collectors, prostitutes, people who were involved with witchcraft! Lecrae was being a light, in his rhymes he was speaking about Jesus. He planted seeds and let the Word be known to the unbelievers watching. esus didn't come here to hang with the self righteous people, he came to save the sick, the ones with the dirty souls. Stop putting yourself above others.

  • @KauaianRapunzel Jesus did not "HANG" with sinners. He took the gospel to people who wanted a change. He did not stop by their house to kick it. Search the scriptures on that matter. If you notice, everytime He healed a person He told them to "Go and sin no more." Take the scripture for what it says, not what you want it to say.

  • @TDEIBOLD Jesus did in fact hang out with sinners. he would even have his disciples go ahead of him and find a house to stay in. It is sad that you think it is a sin or bad in nature to hang out with non- Christians...so sad... no wonder the world looks at us in shame

  • @TDEIBOLD We all had one fate, to go to hell, but Jesus changed that.

  • @KauaianRapunzel I agree...and to call us out of darkness...not to return to it.

  • im inspired by this guy...takes alot to do that plus he keeps his cool points

  • hip hop aint dead.....it just went Gospel....PRAISE GOD!!!

  • LeCrae, Keep doing your Thing!!! You are a breath of fresh air. Let these boys know that they dont have to buy into the negativity and still be a success!

  • For a moment when i saw him on BET hip hop award i though he had given up on Christian music.

  • @Baisers11 naw man just puttin da word out there....dnt be so quick to assume brother.....GOD bless and glory to GOD!

  • Great job at the Hip Hop Awards. This segment with all of the rappers taking turns rapping to James Brown's "Payback" was a definite highlight at the BET Hip Hop Awards. A good chance to see all of the talent....including up and coming talent in the world of Hip Hop.
