  • To improve the retrain use the knee to pin while applying the technique.

  • I love CC transcription. Apparently, state taxes are very hurtful. LOL.

  • @enigmatic2k3 LOL!! I love Transcribe Audio.... My favourites were: "Census Update", "Mother Warburg," "Important bachelor degrees scan part-time what's your cell testicular stuff misled you", "Visit here to read o'connor before we go" , and "Again at this little boat near underneath your newspaper". :P

    LOL 3:53... "Death and sex"

  • A rather poor demonstration. Too much pushing and pulling; no groundedness.

  • this thing hurts as hell...good vid

  • perfect demonstration.

  • I've used the Yonkyo lock before pressing against the radial nerve and it is pretty nasty devastating manuever.

  • This is correct please cut & paste:

Christian Tissier - Shomen Uchi Yonkyo - omote - ura

  • every aikido technique comes from swords techniques, so sword fighting is one of the most important basic ok aikido

  • I didn't understand anything from what you have written. If you would like to make yourself understood, please write proper English.

  • cool :D

  • Very nice. I've never seen the Yonkyo lock applied to the tendons before. There's a nerve, the radial nerve, that runs along the bottem inside half of your forearm. When you press this nerve with the inside of your index finger knuckle it is VERY painful if done properly, and also, if you know exactly how to do it, you can make half of Uke's body go numb for little while. It's a very strange feeling as uke, having half your body go out like that...

  • You just have to remember that not all people react to Yonkyo in the same way - some won't react at all, thus making it a useless technique under various circumstances. Ofcourse it's a necessity for your Aikido training, but it's less applicable than for instance Nikkyo.

  • Yes, I agree, however, the nerve pinch isn't the main aspect of Yonkyo, it's kind of the 'icing on the cake', as you're probably aware of.

  • Indeed, my apologies, I should've been clear about that :)

  • I agree to that. But u can always use Nikyo lock to his forearm. It will make hi/her:

    a) scream in pain or

    b) fall down to the ground

    L.O.C.

  • excellent!!!

  • ese tipo se agacha mucho
