Hey coach, what is your opinion about the proposed skirt for women boxers for the upcoming olympics?

@madrestudiante I have mixed feeling about it,, one one hand I understand having uniform outfits, but on the other I think its a rather male chauvinism behind it as well.. I dont agree with treating the women boxers different then the men, they train the same, spar the same and compete the same....

I like boxing, (mens) its nice to watch and is s good workout and it releases stress (imma 12 yr old girl) i do it on my Wii. Actually boxing pro takes away alot of feminity (lol) from the women, i think.

@KayStarrTV I disagree KayStarr, women are still women outside the ring. You would be surprised to know that alot of them still like going to the spa and getting their hair, nails, and feet done. Some even have families (ie kids, husbands, etc)

I remember when I first sparred Sacred Downing, I sparred her at New Brunswick Boxing Gym, let me tell you, don't let her small demeanor fool you. I was competing at 155, while we were sparring, she hit me with right cross that was so hard that when I went to step forward, I almost collapsed, I knew then that she dazed me. She continue to spar with me for the next 3 rounds and afterwards she came to me and offered her advice. I was truly grateful for it, because we both won 04 NJ Golden Gloves.
