    I hear you, I have the same problem, I always find the most annoying side effect to be that my eyes constantly feel like they are burning. I've been through the sleep labs and I didn't find them to be much help. Im Canadian so the lab studies were free.

    Stress and extreme lack of sleep have made me physically sick, irritable and moody, headaches, i can't focus at all, and so much more..

  • @scar504 Uh... yes and no. How much sleep is necessary for the body and brain to fully recharge will vary from person to person. However, a person can condition themselves to go on much less sleep than is needed for a full recharge (getting through the full sleep cycle). This person becomes so used to being tired, it changes their perception of what feeling tired is like. So, they perceive the way they feel is normal. Check out info on the sleep cycle and sleep hygiene.

  • she said in theory, we use up more of our brain to do the same function when we're sleep deprived. well I don't know about you guys, but I don't sit right with mere theories. Gimme proof bitch

  • d3ron...well you have to do something about it quick or else you'll have an increased risk of stroke, and a host of other diseases will build up over time.

  • @EricSchwin22 wow i didnt know that. Is it immediately after no sleep that i experience the stroke or it is a build up of lack of sleep prolonged?
