Nice! the only thing I don't like is that the launch looks like it's angled downwards. That isn't a good idea because if it e-stops, the ride ops push it back, which would be very hard going up a hill
@rscrocksatw Sorry for late reply (and if I already have, sorry again :P). I've been sifting through comments to find ones like this.
Anyway, to answer your question, I [plan] on making Newton tutorials that will finally answer this common question. I get asked this all the time (and I wondered the same for a while), and I think I could make it easily understandable with realtime multi-zone construction and explanation. Hopefully this will be filmed soon, but who knows...
@Dan4157 That happens with most people. It is usually caused by the friction setting in Newton not matching the actual ride (that crazy number in the Global Settings). Apparently, you have to do some crazy equation to find that number for say, a 5-car Intamin train. But I just leave it as is and hope for the best haha.
Besides, if you have NoLimits v1.6 or above, then you have Improved Friction. If you are still running v1.55, then you need to do some serious update catch-up. :)
Hey nice coaster. I have a question. How did you do the camera work at the beginning before onride. I know you used the ingame recorder but how did you make the movements look so smooth and tilted.
@drumncoasters247 Check your inbox. I like keeping this on the "down-low" because it keeps the originality in my coaster videos. I plan to extensively use this technique for one of my future planned coasters (that sadly is making little progress), Gravity Gale.
I was pretty sure that a lot of people knew how to do it already. I just want to retain video originality, as most people don't come up with it on their own (I know that it's really easy and such).
Again, as I said, I'm just trying to keep the little originality that I have left. Not trying to be some nerdy NoLimits master or anything...
very nice, glad your computer is up and working. Or did you get a new one? XD I really love it! I wish i could use newton but i have the mac no limits and dont want to use boot camp which lets you run windows and mac but i dont want to spend 100 dollars on Windows vista or something. :P
No, just got Windows re-started. I lost all of my files, but it's good to start on a clean slate sometimes. However, it's not good when an audio driver gets deleted from the result. I have no sound at all on any part of the computer!
Thanks. Hopefully AudioSwap will kick in soon...it's supposed to have a cool song going with it (since my NL computer is missing an audio driver, so I couldn't upload it with my own song).
what song is this... ive heard it so many times its so familiar
also, this is like, the perfect little coaster, i loved it!

Great track! Do you use improved friction with nolimits because I notice my speed in newton doesn't always match that of the nolimits simulation.
