I remember a LOT from that Mayors Ball - including Bud eating too much Apple Cake, that contained an HERB he was unaware of...somehow our friendly Mayor was able to still get on Stage - and thankfully folks didn't expect more than a WHOOP WHOOP from him. LOL! btw, i personlly do NOT eat herbed AppleCake..)
i remember seeing this band as a child with my parents.. my mother went to highschool with Debbie (bass player). i would go on stage after the show and corey would show me how to try to play drums and whatnot.. i think these experiences really shaped my passion for music.. awesome band, own original copys of a couple releases... wish i had more.
Good god, I remember this performance like it was yesterday. Monti commanded the stage like Elvis in his prime and this Police cover was always one of the highlights of any Blubinos' set. Seeing this band for a $5. cover charge at Key Largo was better than any $50. concert I ever attended. Proud to subscribe.
