Bass is a very versatile instrument. It can be used as a bass only for the "rhythm" section. But some of us just like the aspect of it also being an instrument with more capability than just rhythm section instrument. I use 2-5 basses in some of the stuff I write. I purposely avoid guitars because of assholes like you "bohs 1984" you snobby guitarist, aren't you? Oh wait you guys think bassist play bass cause it has less strings and looks dumb right?...well F**K You sir/madam whatever you are.

Look, Im not saying that playing this as an exercise on bass isnt cool. But I really dont get the whole bass as a solo intrument thing. If you had your choice of seeing a guitar or piano soloist or going to see "Victor W. plays the classics" who are you really going to want to see. At that point just get a Chapman stick and get if over with cause you sure hell aint a bass player anymore. At that point you really are a frustrated guitar player.

But your sound are very noisy. You shuld use a noise-gate.

Thanks.sorry about the sound,i didn't record the sound direct onto my pc but just with a camcorder which was pretty close to me.that's the reason why you can hear all the noise (string,fret noise etc...)so using a noise gate won't help.thanks again,peace.

first let me say, my principal instrument is not bass, i could never dream to play bass as well as you do. my only suggestion is slow down the temp a little bit and let the piece breath a little more...it's supposed to be a piece about grief.

it's a 1994 warwick fortress one.the neck right now is not the original one,warwick is still making me a replacement neck(the original neck's got a crack at the back of the neck near the nut,from falling twice)the one you saw is just a copy of the original neck i asked someone to make and also with  yin yang inlays on the fretboard.
