Jimmy Wych is fucking RETARDED. These new commentators on BCN treat the game like its easy. The education for players STOPPED the moment they started using these faggots who blare about how the 9 balls coming in to your living room. Its not like non-players watch these videos.. the only people who'd watch these are people who want to LEARN from them. So only people who have ANALYTIC INSIGHT and ARTICULATION skills should be talking. Even Incardona, with his 5th grade English does excellent.

NOTHING BUT RAIL BIRDS WITH MICROPHONES. Repeating someone sold out is a SIMULCASTERS job. A commentator explains WHY he chose it. -- identifying the rationale of the CHOICE of shot. Anyone can criticize someone after missing. Grady is one of the better commentators. MARK WILSON is the best.. EFREN does great commentary. Buddy Hall does great commentary. Danny DeLiberto does good commentary. Howard Vickery is a VERY smart player, and another great commentator therefore.

FINE commentating, no doubt, but "better" than e.g. Danny DiLiberto on One-Pocket? The sheer thought of that being possible is ridiculous! Plus: as soon as comments sound "obvious", it's likely that the listener knows (nearly) as much as the commentators, and/or has been watching too many pool videos - it needn't mean anything negative regarding the quality of the commentating itself. And: anyone who can't stand the babbling of wise old men won't read what I just wrote anyhow, so who cares...

this is the dumbest thing I've read in a while. It's because they ARE "Has Beens..." that they "know stuff". Its their Experience that makes them qualified. Accu-stats has VERY GOOD commentary.  I seriously doubt your judgement!

I have seen dozens of accustats. Grady doesn't shut up for 1 microsecond. He's an annoying senile old man. Incardone or whatever the fuck they call him is a joke. He's a fucking dipshit. Diliberto is annoying and says obvious shit. I just find it annoying and turn the sound off.

rams25, what's your definition of good commentator? Grady and Danny D don't go to any great length to explain what the players are doing... they could do that, but most viewers would find that boring. Anyway they tell great stories, and Diliberto is funny as all hell.

How about guys like Jimmy Wych and Jerry Forsyth? They explain even less, but they're understandable and entertaining, and that's what makes them good.
