  • good strength man you could have had more reps if you wanted to

  • nice lift bro!, haha screw the haters that was mint

  • damn strong dude"..i lov hammer strentgh machines.

  • pretty good lift. but he could've got more reps if he lifted with more agression...he was way too casual

  • so i guess if you don't lift it off, it doesn't count.

You are such a waste of time.

  • @jenbecht Your an idiot Jen you should always have someone help you liftoff on any push movement that starts at the bottom, it would basically be like starting the bench press with the bar already on your chest if you dont have help your more likely to tear your pec on that first rep.

  • Not true. All powerlifts on the bench start at the bottom. all hammer bench machines mimic this as do the powertec benches. All bench pressing should be done from the bottom up as this will increase your muscular strength and avoid momentum.

  • @Ducatista696 Except when you do it on a freeweight bench YOU DO NOT START AT THE BOTTOM.....this isnt a powerlift meet I'm well aware of the rules but the risk of injury is higher when you pause and cause a static stretch in the middle of a rep.

  • @MASKOAA you can do this on a freeweight bench if you use a squat cage. I've done this myself. There is no higher risk of injury if you are warmed up and proper with your technic. Barry Campbell's form is very good and he seems to know what he's doing, but as alot of lifters like Dorian Yates and others on youtube will show it is completely possible to start with a heavy weight in the chest level position.

  • @Ducatista696 Just wanted to add the guy in the video is not bouncing the weight he has full control of it. You dont need to rest pause to achieve that.

  • @Ducatista696 Actually it's the negative that makes you stronger because your muscles are stronger on the negative...

  • @frankz00 Nice logic but untrue. Muscles work by contracting. The negative is for static strength more than anything. You can hold more weight in that position but it won't strengthen the entire range of the muscle. You need both positive and negative.

  • @jenbecht jenbecht have vewy vewy tiny penis...no good for him, he mad

  • @jenbecht for safety reasons u should never start an exercise at the bottom of the lift. i u have a training partner, use them. simple as

  • @jenbecht ur an idiot, the weight is mostly on the shoulder rotatary cuffs from starting position

  • nice press dude. The most ive done on the similar machine down here is 4 plates on each side for 4-5 reps. You look pretty big, whats your incline and flat bench press numbers?

  • I incline 365 for 4 reps I could maybe do 405 but not sure never tried on incline to max. I do 450 on flat, but it has started to hurt my shoulder a bit. I feel like Iam stronger but shoulder will only allow me to get that much.

    Thank for the comment!

  • Damn bro, thats really impressive.

How long have you been training for? How old are you? Any supps/juice? I've been at it for 6 years now, and the best incline I've had is 315 x 1...haha.

  • I am almost thirty and I have been working out since I was 14. I flat benched 315 for reps in high school so not really had to much progress since then. I just take protien thats about it. I was always big 280+ since 10th grade. Later lost weight and muscle was left.

  • Yeah man I hear you, this is a better activity for the kids then simply playing video games, and what-not.

  • nice press dude. The most ive done on the similar machine down here is 4 plates on each side for 4-5 reps. You look pretty big, whats your incline and flat bench press numbers?

  • wow, nice job dude. We have a similar machine down here at gold's gym. The most I've done for that I believe is 4 plates on each side for like 4 reps. How much is your incline benchpress and flat benchpress (reps x weight)

  • Looks like 450 lbs. to me. 5 x 45 (225) on each side makes 450 total. Tha's awesome!
