  • Oh my.....oh sweet mercy....the dance. *swooon* I could watch him swing his hips for hours. It was this song that made me fall head over heels in love with them all over again.

  • I soooo LOVE THIS SONG! very haunting melody and feels like falling in love all over again! RO is so sexy and CS, i love his eyes and smile!

  • My God, never heard them do this song before; absolutely awesome. How is it they just keep getting better and better with age. Love it. Love Roland and Curt. Long live TFF.

  • facebook videos

  • facebook videos

  • This is great to hear them again from out of decades past. True 80's legends in their own right, yet can slip into today quite as thorough.

  • After all these years I am just coming to terms with just how gifted and influential these two recording artists were back in the day. All in all, brilliant! :)

  • This song truly represents Curt's and Roland's friendship I think.

  • wasn't quite aware the they got back together 'til they had a concert here in manila.

super luv luv luv this song!!!!!!pls come back soon before we're all too old to rock. TFF forever.........................................

  • Where did that crowd come from ?

  • I just returned from their concert here Taiwan, it's great.

  • nice duo.like them

  • this song is the best

  • Let 'em in

  • "some one 's knocking at the door, some body's ringing the bell" wow i am so gonna watch them here in May.

  • @1stofthegangtodie MacCartney is the best, of course ;-)

  • Thank you for this!!!!

  • Tears For Fears live in Paris in 2005. 15 more days till the tickets go on sale!!! Man, God has answered my prayers bringing Roland and Curt to Charlotte. I have not seen the two of them on stage together since 1990! I absolutely CANNOT wait for this show! If anyone wants to join us let me know and I will order all the tix at once. This show will sell out fast.

  • @TearsForFearsFan Sorry didn't mean to leave this as a Youtube comment

  • I love their voices.

  • me, too. from bacolod but will travel just to watch them. haha

  • my fave song! can't wait to see them in manila on may 2!!

  • Tears for fears never disappoints. Their hiatus is a blessings, they come back ever so strong than before!!!!

  • saw these guys live in july 09 at the green valley ranch resort. it was 100+ degrees outside, but they still put on an epic show.

hope to see them again this year on the east coast.

  • Amazing song, perfect performance. TFF is my favorite band!

  • This song was of my wedding dance...simply unforgettable..

  • la mejor banda del mundo....tears for fears....saludos desde perú

  • @manuelomar lo mismo pienso yo manuelomar

  • recontra acuerdo.....espero no se demoren en venir por aqui

  • roland and kurt then and now??

YES!! THEY ARE STILL MY NUMBER ONE BAND OF MY ERA!!!

SO AMAZING AND GREAT AND STILL THE SAME MAGIC!!

  • Roland and Curt Smith together....now that is TEARS FOR FEARS...these were and are great times.

  • This is the song, they're the best! Tears For Fears 4ever!

  • That Roland is still pretty

  • jajaja, Roland n'a jamais été "pretty" mais avec son talent, il peut seduire n'importe qui

  • i dont know what you said, but thumbs up!

  • Sorry I don't speak english, I try to explain it: "Roland never has been pretty but with his talent is able to seduce to anyone".

I hope you can understand it.

  • Best voices in the world

  • @Philis37 Not true :)

  • Roland and Curt are truly amazing

  • I like what Roland is wearing.

  • They enjoye life !

  • ditto xThunderThumbsx,

I think many people forget that fact. They have shared that do choose the voice that suits the song...and both have said that is the most important. I love this song. Roland sings this one. Size of Sorrow is done by Curt and that's a great song as well from the same album. I believe they have made more of an effort to be more fair and of course that makes things smooth and we reap the rewards with their great tunes. lol lol

  • j'adooooooooore !

  • the solo is awesome

  • Indeed! The guitar solo was one of the first things I really noticed on the very first time I listened to this tune ;-)

  • Thank you thank you. This is one of my all-time fav songs and LIVE it is BETTER!

  • So undreated. Saw them when they did this tour they were awesome.

    Get back together lads.

  • tears for fears genius for sure they are ...what a music, talent, everything roland and curt the best

  • never heard this one before... but, wow... totally soul style... till the mccartney part (WHICH WAS SO UNEXPECTED!) damn they're so bad ass!

  • I saw them yesterday and when Curt sang "Halfway Pleased" off his solo album, half the audience got up to get beer during his song. It really made me sad for Curt.

  • oh yeah, and, Roland is and has been always a musical GENIUS. I really wish a term existed, though, for just HOW talented I think he is. And I know that it's not just me!

  • Its not just you! He has never gotten the credit he deserves. Theres nothing better than his compositions. but, what I love the most is that voice and looking at him is pretty great too!!!!!!!

  • Ya know, I really like the delibrate nod to Paul McCartney here. I always heard the Beatles influence throughout the years and years... and years of awesome TFF stuff, so it's nice to feel like they're sayin' "thanks." here, at least musically.

  • Curt seems to have grown to be a very nice guy but I feel, contrary to some comments, that he is overrated by many. Comparison is inevitable since they are again side by side on stage yet pointless. It feels right and comfortable to use the word genious referring to Roland. Unfortunately, it would seem bizarre to use the same word regarding Curt. That if you are serious about music and not just taking sides because you find Curt cute.

  • I got this song and closest thing to heaven free on my nokia 6310i back in 2005!

  • same, ive got tears for fears on my 6230i it rockz!!! :D.

  • Wow! What a song!OOOOOOOOH! Roland ,no words to describe how sexy you are!And that voice.OOOOOOOOH! Wanda

  • Nossa, sem dúvidas essa sempre foi e sempre será minha banda favorita!!!

  • so beautiful. The magic is still there. Chemistry between these two is still overflowing. Hope they patch things up 100% and make a rebirth of TFF. TFF is soooooooo underrated.

  • love this video, love this song!

  • Defenitely one of my favorite bands right here! Yeah they still look good for their age but I do miss Curt's mullet!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm really digging on their new stuff. Well done, guys!

  • Nice addition to the wonderful body of work that is TFF

  • Tears For Fears Will Never Die!!!

I apologize to Neil Young for stealing his words.

  • TFF forever!

  • i love this song but... what is his name of song of paul mc cartney?? they sing in the middle of this version alive

  • You can wonder about Paul's song and still love this one, no need for "but" :-)

  • well... i made a mistake¡¡ jeje just wanna know the name of that song

  • Oh... gotcha :-)

  • 'Let em in'.. during his Wings days

  • oh thank you¡¡¡

  • Dirtysouth, you're right, he's very hot for a guy near 50. I like how he sways his hips! Swoon! I prefer his hair straight though. He's so messed up but irresistable at the same time.

  • Comment removed

  • Is that what you do for a living?

  • i don`t have to work! thats only for assholes that don`t have a brain!

  • Dreaming about this summer tour. Be aware West Coast... I am coming! They should come to the east though... New York City pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!

  • Has anyone else noticed how Roland has used the word "world" on every album he has done?

Watching Your World-Acting My Age (Graduate)

    Mad World-The Hurting

Everybody Wants to Rule The World-SFTBC

Standing On The Corner of The Thirld World-SOL

Elemental "Welcome to the real world"-Elemental

Falling Down "Is this world spinning round?"-RATKOS

    Ticket To The World-TSO

    Secret World-ELAHE

  • what a sick band, i just hope to see them live one of these days

  • Roland is a very hot for a man nearing 50 years old.I prefer his hair wild, curly and natural.I think I prefer him in any way!

  • Definitely my fave performance of Secret World. And I have to disagree with all the people who are dissing Roland in this concert. I don't think he looks old or worn out at all. And I'd call his body a lot of things but certainly not "out of shape" To me he looks just as hot now as he ever did. And his hair is still HOT.

  • what she said!!!

    Mmmm....Roland!

  • When bands get older their material starts thinning and dissapating in creativity, like Oasis and U2 cranking out the same old same old, but TFF maintain their quality - exceptional.

  • @whelanttt U2 IS THE BEST

  • @whelanttt Depeche Mode sis exceptional too :)

  • ke bello rivedelli insieme dopo tanto

  • It tears me up to see age creeping into their faces, but then I look in the mirror and go HEY I'm just like Roland and Curt!!! ...very cool.

  • naturaltoby: that's the Spirit!

  • Funny, I have had the same experience and the same thought!

  • Muy hermosa, tears for fears por siempre sorprendente

  • This is real music. Music that goes through your body and soul. Roland's voice and stage presence is unmatchable. And Curt is such a cutie.

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • such a powerfull song

  • Stupendi!!!

  • the crowd is fuckin dead, buch of zombies, they don't even feel the music

  • There French... what dya expect... if i saw a french band performing id just stand there xD

  • Eso!

  • LIndooooooooooooooo!Tears for fears forever!

  • tears for fears are back! they should come to california.

  • This is Curt's favorite song from ELAHE, according to an interview.

  • please TFF put out a new album. the world is starving for good new music unlike the garbage that most "musicians" churn out these days they allegedly call music!

  • Good lord, Curt looks like he's about 28, it's amazing!

  • neither of these guys look 44 years old! looks and voice have both held up very well.wish I could have been at NOTP this year!

  • Yes Curt does take care of himself. He's been working out everyday at every stop of Night of the Proms.

  • Or at least he's been trying to work out everyday during Night of the Proms.

  • Love-Love this song!! It's great! TFF always does a great job!

  • Like many things they've done, this songs reminds me a lot of Paul McCartney. And they even prove that they are fans of him by singing the first line of "Let them in"...

    (1:55 - 2:05)

  • Look at Curt's face from 3:31 to 3:40. It looks like he could have had some work done on his face because he had a much fuller face when he was younger or it could just be that he's aged better than Roland has.

  • thats myfavorite cut from the album,gr8 album.

  • This song is beautiful, but I prefer their old stuff...

  • I think they both look and sound fantastic considering.

  • Agreed. They look great for being close to 50years old. :)

  • Amazing! I really love it, and all the songs on this album. Have to disagree with some of the comments about Roland, though. He will always be very sexy to me. It's not just his physical appearance, it's his talent, passion, intelligence...

  • I totally agree. I never really thought about them much as a teen, but now that I'm a grown woman I can appreciate Roland's well rounded talent. He's quickly moved into my #1 favorite!!

  • the lead singer did not age very well lol

  • As fabulous as ever!

  • this song is so beautiful;ly styructured and written...really really cool

  • every album by TFF and Roland are classics

  • I stumbled across this video by accident and LOOOOVED the song immediately. I order ELAHE and have been listening to it non-stop since. I didn't even know they'd gotten back together.

  • Awesome drummer with them here. Nick D'Virgillio of Spock's Beard. Great tune, too.

  • yes we do all age, but much as I love Roland, the dyed hair and new teeth make him look like an aging gigolo. It pains me to say that as I have lusted after him since 1985 so I think I will remember him at his peak when I fantasise about him!!!

I feel very disloyal as I stll love th music.Love ya Rolie!!

  • i don't have that problem. i'm still lusting after him! always will. i love dyed hair, new teeth, aging gigolos. shame on you!(sorry if thats harsh.)

  • It is just a shock when your object of lust starts to age, proving that they are human after all. Of course I haven't aged at all myself!! He was a truly spectacular specimen in his time.

  • see heres the thing people change a lot of females fantasise about brad pitt check in 20 yrs time and see who still thinks he looks as good as today

  • if i got to pick Brad Pitt now or Roland Orzabal now i'd certainly go with Roland.i was born the same year Roland was so maybe that makes me pretty normal.if a man has a certain thing about him,it never goes away.

  • there is the option of plastic surgery

  • He should not by dying his hair that color.

  • reeally like this song!

  • Grande orzabal y smith

  • ...You and I have a secret... world...

  • god tears rolling down

  • I agree, so great to see them together again. They Rock!!!

  • SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM BACK TOGETHER!! :)

  • I love this song. It's so beautifull and charming... For me of course :)

  • You know it brings a big smile to my face as these guys are one of the few remnants of old school that is still going strong. Yeah they had their ups and downs but damn...2008 and I am still rockin TFF music like no tomorrow. Summer Winter, Spring their music covers every seasonal mood lol. I was born in 83 so like many others like my generation we were probably the last to fully enjoy what was left of the 80's. My mom made sure of that lol 80's forever. Now were are my Chuck Taylors? lol

  • muy buena combinacion de su cancion con algo de de la de la cancion de paul maccrtney ( dejenlos entrar) roland por eso eres grande atte papa lee

  • This is a great live performance it is almost tear jerkingly good, I hate the american music industry for not allowing this record to be marketed the way it should have been, everything now just seems so kiddie retarded and only catering to idiots who are happy that they can watch 5 seconds of a music video on tv.

  • Curt!!!! looking Good!!

  • Although I am a Roland fan, Curt looks amazing. I swear, he hasn't aged at all!

  • They are great.

Everyone loves Roland, it seems, but what about Curt Smith? Not to mention, Curt S. has aged beautifully; looks much better than he did when the group was in their heyday.

  • hey u are right. what about Cuirt? im a fan of him too and u are right he is beatiful.

  • Yeah, Curt had somewhat of a babyface back when the band started. Now he looks slimmer and mature, no pun intended.

  • I love both Curt and Roland, but it pains me whenever Curt is being over-looked. He's very underrated. Love him<3

  • Oh, I hear what you're saying -- I REALLY noticed it prior to the band splitting up-- but it seems Curt has stepped to the plate and really gotten more involved in their newest stuff.

  • Its about time. Roland has been the backbone of TFF always.I for one am satisfied with that.Curt can stick to the harmonies!

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • Roland is amazing! This is a great share, Thank you for shareing this with us. This is Great!

  • I clicked on Reply to a comment on page 4 that Roland is still HOT!!! Wonder why it didn't stay under it?

  • Roland has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard

  • De longe uma das melhores canções do novo disco! Muito legal.

  • Yeah, Roland can sway those hips. =D

  • TIME for a concert in the Orlando, FL area Dudes! Keep the great music coming!

  • I interviewed them for my college paper prior to the album's release. If you notice, at the end of this track the orchestra breaks into an applause. I asked them about this, and was told that they NAILED the track on the first take! How's that for obscure trivia?

I'm no future music historian, but I'll forever have my audio tape of the interview!

  • Woa! Interesting! Really obscure trivia :-)

  • pls post that interview here on youtube

(may it be audio or writen...image...or something)...thanks...

  • Wow! I am so happy for you! Tears for Fears happen to be my favourite band and would love to meet them.

How was the experience while you interviewed Curt and Roland? So, what was your assignment, exactly?

  • Please post the Interview with Tears for Fears, Please. Thanks, Bruce

  • This song is fantastic. All of TFF's albums are amazing pieces of work; even the albums that Curt was not involved with (elemental and Raoul). This album should have been a big hit in the USA.

  • The (lead) guitarist stage left is Charlton Pettus, a Guitar God and musical genius.

Oh, and the other guys are pretty good too. ;-)

This album should have been HUGE.

  • Ya, they work out! Probably why their voices are still great.

  • curt still looks the same, unbelievable, before I saw this video, I was picturing him as an old fat man..but, my gosh he's still hot!

  • roland y curt!!! forever

  • Roland was a hansome guy but now the years have affected him incredible!!

  • Check out Roland at 1:02,3:05, 4:12. It looks like he's taken off his wedding band. This could mean a MAJOR midlife crisis.

    Say it ain't so, RO.

  • Oooh, ma bad. RO specifically mentions misplacing a ring while touring America. His wife and sons were with him for that tour. Obviously nobody thought it was that big a deal.

  • I know why Roland keeps the longhair! He has Dumbo ears! Look upon old videos, when he used to have short hair.

  • I agree with tannerutah, but I have to say that Roland needs a haircut. lol It's too demodé.

  • i dont think roland is really trying to recapture his youth i think dood just likes long hair they both look older for good reason they are they still sound so good

  • i have it in my cel i use it for my ringtone..i like it so much!!!!

  • I have this DVD and the crowd looks lifeless..what a shit audience to a great band ahn..do all the french people suck like this crowd?

  • Nah, I don't think so... I think they have another kind of culture and another way to enjoy live performances... not like here in Brazil, where fans are used to go crazy in live shows. This doesn't mean that French's aren't enjoying the show ;-)

  • there just appreceating the music more than we do here in America

  • simplemente geniales !
