This isn't really to my taste, however i chose to watch it and i am not being critical of the family. What i do find distasteful is the comment about the embalming. So morbid what?
Putting all the moral and ethical issues regarding this video aside for a moment, and with no offence intended to the uploader and his/her loved ones - that is honestly one of the worst embalming jobs I have ever seen. Seriously, it's approaching River Phoenix-esque levels of bad, and that's saying something.

Does it really matter how they died? They lived and were loved. We used to keep our loved ones at home, wash them ourselves and dress them for burial. But now we have someone else who never knew them do it for us.......so impersonal. These photos of loved ones are a tribute to their lives. Thank you for sharing, may it help all of us who grieve.

I posted my comment long ago and my response was in favor of their right to post this video, but would like to see the youtube age restricted block added that prevents younger children access to these type of videos. My child's account blocks many inappropriate videos & I monitor her activity but not all kids are monitored online and they watch & reply to videos they should not be seeing at all.

I also understand why you felt you needed to do this. to the people posting hateful messages::: how a person mournes is different for everybody. 100 years or so ago it was common to take death photos of the recently deceased. before that it was common to wear a necklace or a broach made from the deceased hair. we all mourne,don't put someone down just because you don't understand their way.

To each his own when it comes to tributes and while it can also bring awareness to the way an individual died, ie. as result of domestic violence, I just wish that those that post this type of content would put an age warning. Does it really matter how they died? They lived and were loved. We used to keep our loved ones at home, wash them ourselves and dress them for burial. But now we have someone else who never knew them do it for us.......so impersonal. These photos of loved ones are a tribute to their lives. Thank you for sharing, may it help all of us who grieve.

As it happens, funeral photography is a tradition which began with photography itself. For some people, too, a remembrance of their loved ones at peace in death, rather than stuffed full of tubes or struggling to breathe is a comfort.

I posted my comment long ago and my response was in favor of their right to post this video, but would like to see the youtube age restricted block added that prevents younger children access to these type of videos. My child's account blocks many inappropriate videos & I monitor her activity but not all kids are monitored online and they watch & reply to videos they should not be seeing at all.

To each his own when it comes to tributes and while it can also bring awareness to the way an individual died, ie. as result of domestic violence, I just wish that those that post this type of content would put an age warning. Its done on graphic news reports on Utube and on "adult" type videos by responsible users. @mtsacricky09 well, maybe you can become a mortitian then?? Have you read how they died??? They were SHOT to death, so depending on where the bullets HIT, WAX is the only way of allowing an open coffin in the first place, second, these people are dead, I find it much more repelling, if someone in a coffin is made to look as if they are cheery and totally alive...these people are dead, so pay some tribute instead of leaving STUPID remarks about the funeral home
